These are pics of the Mckinney 3 inch DP and the clearances when mounted on an S13 240 SX with Mckinney mounts:

Very good product, excellent bend and welds. I had pointed out that I think it could be about an inch shorter that would free up some ground clearance.

So, see below:

Anyway, the pics probably don't accurately represent it, but basically I think that taking 1 to 1.5 inches off of the pipe would probably place the cat back in the factory position and still leave about an inch of clearance under the floor pan.

This is an RB25 with Mckinney mounts and driveshaft. The motor sits perfect and I don't have any clearance issues. Always been very happy with your products.

I had shortened the stock RB25 DP by about an 1 1/2 inches and it gives me similar clearance to your 3inch pipe.

I really like it, but it just hangs too low.

I think I will run it by a welding shop and get an inch chopped off to see how that makes it fit.

I have to do some work on my car this weekend, so I will get some pictures posted for you. I unfortunately do not have a lift, so I have to put it on jackstands, but I should be able to get the pics similiar to yours for comparison

Mac,I finally finished teaching myself how to weld (It ain't pretty, but I am getting there), so I am just going to go ahead and chop the pipe tomorrow and weld it back together.

I know you guys would be willing to fix the problem for me, but it is a good oportunity for me to practice welding. You guys have always been great, and this was probably just an anomily.

Here are the best pics I could get, hope this helps.
