From the sounds of it, its merely rescinding the laws that Bush put in place just before leaving office. Of course that could just be a start.

For what reason? Seems Bush was simply trying to keep the laws the way they were meant instead of allowing lobby groups to press for an "end around". You can't really say that Bush was trying to stop abortions as this simply protected the doctors and such from being forced.

You are welcome to your point of view and I respect that. And I agree that BC is important, as is sex education. But life isn't so idealistic. If it was, this debate wouldn't exist. But consider that what you believe and what can be proven or agreed upon are very different. Just consider that other people have differing beliefs. What you believe can be applied to your life. I'll apply what I believe to mine.

thats a good point of view..to bad the prez dont share it..why force OBGYN's then to do abortions if they dont believe in them?..see..with the left side of this arguement..there is no point of view of the individual..only there point of view under socialistic equality ....to them it dosent matter what you or i think..only what they think for us..couse in there eye's we are to stupid to do things for our selves.

Sadly enough I have more days I feel this is a true generalization of our society than not. Of course, I dont work with the most encouraging people either, haha.

Couldn't say. I was just merely pointing out my observation. As I hinted, more could be coming. Who knows.

I can't claim to know why pro-choice would force such a thing upon doctors. However, as I speculated before, I can only think its to prevent discrimination against doctors and patients who choose to perorm abortions. I do wonder how many doctors do not perform abortions to avoid having people picket outside their offices. Perhaps its an issue of safety for the doctors and their families.

Arguably, its true. If we didn't do stupid things, we'd have no need for stupid laws.
