i feel ya on the bad winters man... it gets nasty here in wisconsin too.. however, i look at it as fun time for a rwd car one of the few times cops will let you get away with drifting in the streets.. lol"what were you doing boy?" "i lost control officer, honest!!"

i'd drive mine in the winter, i just dont want it to rust lol suprisingly, there is practically NO rust on my car. originally from Tennessee and then sat in a field an hour north of where i live, and no rust, no rats, lol no nothing. i like it a little lol thats pretty much why

and yea, here, we wont get snow until like christmas, and after that, it'll snow almost until like april or may. i hate it lol then in the summer, its either really wet or its really dry. Michigan is messed up lol

They are 12v, have around 200-300 CCA, and are small, and the price difference is pretty good. the tractor battery is also a little lighter from what i hear. I have to buy a new battery anyway so what do you think i should do? I really want to keep it in the front and i am on a TIGHT budget. Thanks alot!
Look on "Trojan Batteries" website - I was just talking to a distributor the other day, for the same reason, he has a batter that is roughly 4 in wide and 10 in long that produces 700 CCA, and is 12v. Its what harley davidsons are about to begin using. I know oddessey battery also makes a small one like this that produces the CCA.

Hope that helps some!

trojan batteries are amazing batteries, but you have to be sure that of the batteries you buy from them because im guessing most of you guys want a maintenance free batterry and most of trojan's stock is wet-cell batteries where you have to maintain the water levels in each cell about once a month. something even just like this may run you into the 150$ range easy, and for a maintenace free battery(aka gel) you may be looking in the 200$+ range.my comment stands, odessey batteries ftw! Dimensions are LxWxH pc535-$135.99 (6.7"x3.9"x6.125")pc545-$139.99 (7"x3.37"x5.17")pc545mj-$149.99 (7"x3.37"x5.17")pc625-$109.99 (6.7"x3.9"x6.89")pc680-$145.99 (7.27"x3.12"x6.67")pc925-$185.99 (7.05"x6.69"x5.79")pc1200-$215.99 (7.87"6.66"x7.55")*the number after the pc part is how many Cranking amps the battery comes with outta the box

Like i said before i can cater to anyones battery needs. Just post a question and i'll help you as best i can!

I didn't want to start a whole new thread about the miata battery so I'll ask here:

For those of you who are running miata batteries in your 240's, what did you do with the two hoses coming out the back? (top left and bottom left in pic.) According to several miata owners, the hoses are supposed to 'T' together with the prius vent tube so the battery can release the hydrogen molecules that it produces. Did you guys make your own vent system? Please help. I'm very confused and I've already had to replace my miata battery once.

I joined them with a 'T' fitting, then attached another hose at the end of the 'T' and routed it out of my engine bay.

Did you put any sort of filter on the end of the third hose? Also, how is that 3rd hose directed? in other words, is it facing forward, sideways, up or just danglin? I think I'm over thinking this, huh.

anyone have this?
I have it. Actually I have two of them because I thought the original one I had was faulty so I bought another one. Turns out it was my POS starter. Oh well, atleast I have a spare one now.

Tip, If you DO buy it from FR sport then request a pricematch. Other places have them for under $100.

I have a full sized optima in my car in the normal spot with a FMIC. its all about how you run the piping. run it out the vertical wall right above the frame rail.
