I dont like flat red, my last 240 had the right side painted flat red and it sucked and didnt look so good so I repainted it.

just get a cheap paint job$300 paint joband two years later: before I sold it, not the best paint but decent and I didnt care about door dings and dents.

I wish i never sold it

i say go for a flat red or satin only because hatchs have the ability to pull off just about any paint color even with a silvia front. coupes on the other hand are another story and need carefull concideration when picking a paint color.

I totally agree with this. This crap is sooo trendy. I'm mean I like a nice fitting set of wheels and some subtle body kits. But let's get real... tires stretched and cambered so hard that you end up with less of a contact patch than stock 15's. And the whole zip tied body kit thing is effing retarded. It gets to a point where you're just trying too hard. And what makes it completely intolerable in my book is when you are rocking a stock KA. Ya know what that is??? It's facking RICE. And to the OP... paint your car gloss. You'll be happier in the end.

I wish people would stop ruining their car with this new "trend".

If you want your car to look stupid, flat it.If you want it to look like a real car, clear it.

It's thought processes like these that are the reason MOST Jersey S-chassis look like crap. People trying too hard to be "out of the box" or "anti-trendy". It's SO easy to make a 240sx look good but people around here always find a way to f*** it up...

Dude, you see how nice, clean, and glossy your car looks in your sig? Why would you want to mess it all up with flat paint?

I say no for flat.

some body shop in L.A. my dad has taken a few cars to get painted there when he worked for my uncle at a used car dealership. not the best paintjobs but well worth the 300 im sure there are more shops that are willing to do a cheap paint job if you do the body work.
