I saw this has been done to many sportscars around including GT-R, Ferrari, Lamborghinni and etc. It looks sick with styling bodyline. I am just wondering maybe the same thing could be done to Rogue. It simply wrapped onto current paint which cause no damage and can be redo easily. I saw this on Nico forum which shown the film is being done onto a EX35. Curious that has anyone, or would anyone done this to their Rogue?

Or maybe could someone came up with a photoshop one for Rogue just for eye catch

In 2 weeks I'll do my hood and will post some pics about it. I have a huge piece of wrap CF and I'm planning to do a hood. I was thinking about matte black in the beginning because this way I can hide all the paint chips but later decided to do a CF style. I will start from the hood.

Is this stuff similar to the clear bra paint protection film? As in, will it provide that same type of protection? Or is it not as ruggid.

Of course it will give you some kind of protection. Maybe not too much but some. I have a few paint chips on a hood and I don't feel like repainting the hood.

I ordered from http://www.decalfx.com and decided to try it on my laptop first before I put it on my car. Looks funny and also I screwed up on a sides so I definitely not going to put it on my hood:There's another source of wrap kits: http://www.rvinyl.com but I didn't like their design of CF style. I will order a huge wrap kit of black matte for my car very soon but might order an extra piece of CF for mirrors and rain guard as well as for rear deck above the license plate and door handles.

Forgot to add. This is a carbon fiber 2 from decalfx who's interested. It does not stretch at all so it would be really hard to put it on any type of curves. Black matte is stretchable and a lot easier to install.

If i order the black matte would a shop do the install for me? or do i have to go through them? I do not have the dexterity or patience to do a good job with it if i chose to do so.

Just a thought on any type of wrap. My brother did his hood in CF and it looks great, but it does show more damage than regular paint. As rocks chip the film, the film starts to peel. He has a few 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch areas on his hood that have peeled away. It will probably last 1-2 years without noticeable damage, but be prepared to re-do it.

I like the idea of flat black though.

Came across this today:
http://www.autoblog.com/2010/04/26/how- ... ur-garage/
For only $120, it's very tempting to try...
Though, reading through the thread, I noticed the guy got the wrap through his buddy, so he probably got a decent discount on it.
*Edit* Yeah, looks like $500ish for a 50 yard roll. But you'd have a ton left over in case you messed up...
But it looks like there's several different kinds to get, but a roll of Oracal 970RA runs $500ish.
