I had the same issues.... with mine. Best I could yield with them on BFG DR's was a 1.84 60ft... I'll be back this year with stock suspension on the rear and see what I can do...

Ya thats what Im hearing since I bought them . Although Im hoping for a little wheel spin Due to me breaking the rear end last year. But Im tucking some 11.5 wide MT ET Drag slicks, and the gizzmo launch control for an extra 50+Hp out of the hole. So will see how it holds. If I don't like it Ill have the Teins in the trunk for a Quick Swap. :} Hopefully Ill get to test them out in a week or so.

I was on 255 MT ET street radials and had problems.

Don't bother dragging on the megans. You won't be happy. I am going to do the same as you probably and run a shock/spring combo on the rear at the track.

Good luck though, I am considering going to the track on friday.

What kind of wheels are you using for your drag radials? I'm trying to piece together a good set of drag wheels/tires for this season.

Im actually using 17x8's. But the best wheel for the drag is the 15x8 or 15x10 weld drag lites for a 4 lug ford mustang. I wish I had a set for mine.

The Taller 17" wheel is harder to get moving than the 15" tall wheel is. I think thats hurting my 300' times but Ill trap more MPH in the 1/4 with the 17" wheels.

How do you like using haltech, is it pretty easy to function and set up?

im using the megan street coils. i didnt change any of my settings however we though of it while at the track but the officals closed the track early due to people skating @ the 1/8th mile... so no testing that theory that night. next time out i will be soften the megans up all the way.

my friend in his s2k turbo on megan coils and the same kumho tires ran a 12.4 @ 116mph. dont know the 60'

as for the haltech it works great. i did not do any of the tuning on my car however from watching my tuner play with the system it looks good. if i did not go with the haltech i would have looked into the aem

I don't know if you guys have this problem with the megans, But My car has MAJOR rear camber. Out of the 10" of rubber that should be on the ground im only leaving 6" blackmarks. I bought the Upper RUCAS to adjust the camber out. But I have not gotten it aligned yet. I adjusted the Upper Rucas out as far as I was Comfortable with and I still seem to have Alot of camber. Anyway of getting the camber out more?

I can't find any Lowers at a reasonable price. Which ones are you running?

You talking about the Toe arm or the Control arm? I see the Toe arms megan sells but not the Lower control arm.

your car must be pretty low, I don't have any trouble getting my car aligned with all the arms aftermarket in the rear.

The only thing aftermarket I have in the rear is the Upper Rucas. Everything else is stock.

Well I don't think I need any more traction. I finally got the car out to the track tonight. FIRST pass, Broke the driveshaft!! So that ended the night before it even got started. I used the Launch Control set at 3600rpm and left at 5lbs of boost. But the Driveshaft didn't like it at all. Anyone else having problems with breaking the U-Joints? This is my 2nd set.

Ya I was on the Megans set soft and my MT, Et Streets. 11.50 x 26 tires.

Im still running the 2 piece driveshaft b/c the guy that was suppose to make me one here said his machine broke. But I have got to have a Driveshaft with bigger U-Joints for the Stock R200 Rear end. I don't won't to change rear ends b/c I have my gearing setup perfect for my local track and Also I just spent 900$ worth of brakes all the way around.

No kidding I might have to switch over to ET streets... Maybe the BFG's just don't cut it as well?

He has ET streets, not the radials. Wrinklewalls. Different beast from the BFG's. I will be running MT ET street radials for sure.

Ya the Et Streets are the way to go. I break my car before the tires slip. That makes 2 sets of axles and a driveshaft for these tires, and I have only got 3 passes out of them LOL.

The 2 piece doesn't seem to be the problem. The rear U-Joint is the problem. Its seems to be just too small to handle the pressure. Who makes a good U-Joint?
