Seems like I've been listening to music all my life. I remember listining to some old 45s and 331/3s on the high fi when I was just a kid. I remember Jim Croce's greatest hits, Hits of the 60s, Purple people eater, but I think the first 45 record I ever bought was perhaps by Atlanta and the song was Seven Bridges Road. It was probably like a $1 or something in the mid 70s. If I could still listen to that song I still would. On the off occassion I hear it on the radio I still do.

I think my first cassette tape was probably Only the Good Die Young, but I forget who sings it. Do I still listen, yeah I brings back a flood of memories.

My first CD, dang I dunno...that was so long ago.

Where'd you come up with this one Rex?

I think it was the Bush album Sixteen Stone on cassette tape. I don't remeber the price. It was also the first CD I bought. I still listen to it regularly.

Was flipping throught the channels the other night and came across A&E Live and John Mellencamp was playing/taking requests live. Pretty good stuff, brought back as few memories.

BTW, I recall listening to old 78's and of course who hasn't listened to 78's on 33 1/3 and such.
