That is a nice vert AZhitman! I installed AGX with stock springs and mine looks like tenkawa.

^ How would struts make your car lower? I don't see how GR2's would make a difference.:rolleyes

I have seen differences in ride height when installing different types of shocks. Its in the gas pressure. I am not sure about the AGX but the regular kyb shocks I installed in my old Toyota truck raised it about an inch. This is compared with the regular shocks (which was not under pressure).

GR-2's are more of an OEM replacement, they aren't adj. AGX's are the adj. ones. Struts aren't going to lower a car, springs will lower a car.

Is the vert still an auto?

That looks damn awesome.

You have sold me on an s13. I am going to buy one as a beater damnit and park the s14.

*thinks to self....sell 5zigens, save for s13, park s14 and build it, put BA suspension on s13 for fun..........*evil haha**

GR-2's are stiffer and better performing than OEM struts and about half the price of the AGX's.

Don't know how many times this can be covered but the average kid driving his rice rocket around town does not need adjustability, much less know how to properly tune it for optimum performance. Maybe if I regularly took my daily driver and hardcore roadraced it, then did AutoX, then drifted, and dragged it yet for some reason didn't wanna buy coliovers...I would need adjustability.

GR-2's are weak. Slightly better than OEM. Not to be used with a stiff spring.

S-Tech's are also weak. Their spring rates aren't good. They are known to "settle" after time.

This setup is more for looks then performance.

What does "Their spring rates aren't good." mean?

A nice progressive rate for the street is what I remember but I'm too lazy to go back and look for it...

i guess a maximal rate of 3.2kg/mm is weak compared to 10kg/mm.

yeah, the s-techs are some of the best for shock/spring setups...unless u wanna go crazy w/ the RSR springs or something...but hten u gotta invest in some serious shocks...by then u could just get some damn coilovers
