Installed the S-Techs and KYB's yesterday.

Doesn't look like much of a drop in the pics, but it looks LOW in person!

Front wheelwell lip is at 25", rear is at 25.25"...

You did something wrong. :)

Bart, will you measure your fenderwell height? I know your tires are shorter, but it'll give me a baseline.

Oh, yeah - I forgot to mention the clear turn signals. :)

So your drop is almost the same as mine... You're .5" higher in front and .25 lower in the rear.

Hope they don't "settle" much! :)

The AGX's might actually hold it up a little too.

I need to install bumpstops and it'll be fine.

Altiman - Thanks much. I sold the 18's, gonna go with 17's.

Phane - The springs were like $115 (southwest autoworks), struts were $150 (ebay). Yours won't be as low, since the 'vert is heavier. Handles a lot better, much more controlled-feeling.

GEO - Sleepy-eye will be done when someone local gives me a hand with it... I don't wanna screw up a fully-functional set of pop-ups. :)

Hmmm - Maybe I'm confused.

ill give you a hand right now, from 1000 miles away. pull off the up/down button for the headlights, and cut and tape off the brown wire. youre done. search for the thread in the technical forum if you have any questions as to how it works..

Ok, for mad cheap Tein items, check the Advertiser's Specials forum.

As for the sleepy eyes, what needs to be done was already covered. Cut and tape that brown wire and reinstall the button. Now turn the lights on then off. As they lower, tap the button to freeze them. Quickly double-tap to fine tune their height. Seeing as we're the exact same height (6'1 IIRC), I usually lowered mine until they just barely disappeared below the hood line. This is all from the driver's seat, naturally.

Nice drop btw, and aren't you glad you went with my suggestions? :)

Last I checked, "GR-2" and "AGX" are two different sets of letters and numerals.

= not the same.
