The wack vote can be a powerful voting block, but It'll certainly be interesting to see how Franken does.

We would rather have a former snl star that may not be a perfect politician (HUH, oxymoron.) Than a complete F*cking dirtbag, rat. Then again, we did elect michelle bachman again, and that b*tch is as crazy as they come.

So what if we are a little goofy here in MN. If you were stuck living in a state where the temperature swings from 60 below to 125 above you guys would be a tick screwy yourselves.

Norm was a scoundrel, a sneaky bastard, and a greasy haired career politician. He was cocky and even stuck up, and I for one am very happy to see him ousted. I voted for Franken, and I hope not to regret it. Believe me, Ive heard every attach add out there, (there were tons), and Ive heard my right wing coworkers spout off endless "bad" things he's done. The truth is, I listened to every debate, and every speech, and he ran freaking circles around Colman.

Even if he does screw it all up, he can crack a few jokes and make people feel better. We could use a little humor right now.

That's just it; he wasn't funny then and he certainly isn't funny now. He ran his radio network into the ground, think he can't do the same bang-up job as a senator?

Al Franken just looks like a Pedobear and this picture just confirms that opinion.

At least Minnesoooota's celebs aren't talking about seceding from the Union, right? So, by that metric they're actually doing quite alright.

Don't worry, I'm not making fun of the accent, I have the same one.

Norm Coleman asked Franken to concede on the day of the election, and than followed his party's orders to drag out the recount as long as possible so the 60th Dem could not be seated. Good riddance, loser hypocrite.

Ventura and Franken pale in comparison to the complete nutjob Michelle Bachmann. I swear she is going to do an interview in a tin foil hat sooner or later.

You're not kidding, she is downright batty.

You should hear her new thing. She has announced that she will be refusing to fully fill out her US census survey. She claims that many of the questions are too invasive. She says she will not disclose how many people are living at her house, or her household income.

Being as people are legally obliged to fill out the census, she has essentially admitted that she will be breaking the law in the near future.

Being from the Twin Cities, I don't have much of an accent. A lot of my friends moved here from the Negaunee area though, and they have it bad, even after being here for a few years.

One of her beefs is that ACORN volunteers will be helping with the Census, and she thinks the Census is going to be skewed because of that.

Same. Only the hicks have strong MN accents. One of the reasons I hated the movie Fargo - people from the city do not talk like smockers.

Oh, ya.

So if Ventura is Gov and Franken is a Senator for MN and Ahnold is gov of Cali, does that mean the Cali will have match them by electing a non fummy SNL member for Senate? Action star for Governor, Comedian for Senate.

Ventura hasn't been Gov for years, he was succeeded by Tim Pawlenty in 2002.

Even so he was still voted in as Governor. I'm not saying that it was a bad thing, he got the job done even if was with unconventional tactics. If he were to run for President I'd vote for him, if just to see how we would handle Congress, the Senate, and the rest of Capitol Hill.

Oh and I forgot that Cali voted Sonny Bono as a Senator.
