was at boomer, all you so cal people should know what that is.

saw it and was like ohhhhh gotta try. so i got on and this kid was trying to tell me what to pick, i ended up picling the sil80 and the kid called me gay for not picking a subaru:rolleyes . so i race the guy with the s13 and beat him. and then give the kid a try and he gets rolled on!!! and says its the game.

most of the kids playing it didnt realise it was a drift oriented game and were looking at me all wierd when id take the corners :)

but yeah just thought id share my first experience with the game, pretty cool game

I just started playing that game. Spent $5 and got a card and played a couple times. I am using the s14 silvia Q's. White. It looks EXACTLY like my car, especially since the first "upgrade" it gave me was rims that look exactly like my crappy American Racing ones! :D

any NYC cat that wants to play the game can come down to jersey, GO JERZ, and play it at Fun-n-Games... its an arcade in willowbrook mall... just take 46E all the way to the mall. ;)

and i got me a 180 tha looks just like my car too!

funny... most other players use tegs... or civics... yeah... they get owned.

I dont understand: if it's a drifting game, why did they include FWD cars like tegs and civics...? Why not just keep it normal drifting cars (RWD and AWD)?

Seems kinda supid... I donno maybe they've gotta keep other car companies happy or something who knows.

iight guyz.. here are the directions!!!!!

you come across the GW and take 46 West... and you just take it all the way to the mall. It is maybe 15 miles away. It is right after Wayne. you'll get there in less than 30 minutes...

now for a faster way here... take 80 west after the bridge then just take 46 west farther down... they meet up again. Like i said before the mall is off 46.

edit: for Meantime... just take the parkway up here till the 46 West exit... and ride it to the mall... very easy.

If you guyz are planning on coming ya should let me know so I can join ya... or if you get lost, which you probably wont.

My IM is ScytheShifter, MSN is [email protected]

and about the FF cars.. well... in the cartoon they race against some FF cars that think drifting sucks... so we get to see some nice Grip vs. Drift battles also. thats why they put those cars in.

how is the game? is it easy to start drfting? is the game really realistic? how much is it? how easy is it to maintain a drift and how long can you play for hehehehe

pretty easy to drift i think... there is no car damage... and when you hit someone else's car it feels like you push off eachother, that i dont like. to maintain a good drift is another thing now... depends on the driver. and you play a dollar a race... the cheapest you can play it anywhere since its a pretty new game and there is always someone on it.

They raised it from $.50 to $.75 a play at the arcade in Raleigh I was pissed. I did not like it that much. I played it a few times but I still wanted to race and not drift so I kept losing all my speed in the turns. Does anyone else think those car accelerate way too slow?

thats the whole thing man.. if ya cant drift properly than you cant get the best exit speed.

Dont everyone start flaming me but drifting is not the fastest way threw turns unless you have really bad rear tires. Don't get me wrong I love to go sliding threw turns in my car but I do it for fun not when I am trying to get the most corner exit speed. That game is a lot of fun but it is not realistic in that drifting threw turns does not in acutallity give you more corner exit speed

wether griping or drifting is faster in real life ... i dont know.. but the GAME is made so that if you do drift the corners... you'll be much faster.

and im not flaming you man... im a nice guy :)

Civics are in the game because they're in initial D and too many people drive them and you can drift (read: SLIDE) in them, heh.

You don't have card options? It's $1 for a card and $1 per play up here (I played 4 times and got a card). You buy the card after you put in your $1 to play the game and it prompts you for a card or if you want to buy one.

Also, we just got Ver. 2 up here :D
