Second accident I rear ended someone, which was kinda my fault, but technically theirs since they had NO brakelights working.
Third accident I was at a stop, waiting to make a left, and was rear-ended by some lady, no damage to my car, and hers was all F**KED up, haha.
FOURTH accident was me coming off an exit doing LESS THAN 25 mph, slid on wet leaves, and ran into a curb, destroying my front driver's side suspension (control arm, tie rod, strut, and wheel).
Because of the bent wheel I hooked my baby up and got it some SE-R wheels. A couple of months later, got a head unit.
Fifth and final accident...Was driving down my street, doing about 30, (5mph over the limit) and a lady decides to make a left turn with about 20 feet in between us. I nail her doors (corolla) and break my blinker. She thinks its my fault, and when the cop gets there, tells her its her fault...haha, she looked stupid.
Oh yeah, I e-braked my car around turns like crazy. Did donuts in my school's soccer field and got caught, did some light offroading, and neutral dropped it a bunch of times. My hood flipped up twice on me, the last time cracking the windsheild and eventually spreading. Went through brakes and tires like crazy. Also I delivered pizza with it.
I put 70k on that car in two years...got rid of it with 172,xxx on the clock, only having replaced the alternator, starter, and three belts (aside from basic maintance). I beat the sh*t out of that car and it loved it. transmission wasn't even slipping when I sold it to the junkyard for 150 bucks. Oh yeah, and the junkyard ended up fixing it and reselling it for 500.
Sorry for the long post, but I loved my Sentra, I miss it. Luckily though, I got my mom to pick up a 2001 in 2k, I think its the reincarnation of the 94 XE, we'll see...
Who votes this guy should never drive again? Me.
No j/k
I've been in two accidents, one very similar to the one where the lady turned in front of you. Messed up my 'teg, and got a new front end (for free, thanks dude!) The second was in my 240; a guy was turning right to merge into traffic, and I saw him pull off, so i moved up a few feet, was looking right and began to merge as well. He decided to stop, and I didn't notice. BOOM. Luckily, it was a jacked up truck so nothing happened to it.
My 240 was another story. His trailer hitch cut right through my hood and headlight assembly. Almost $4k in repairs.
I just sucked it up, paid the $500 deductible, and paid a somewhat minor hike in insurance (like $15 a month more). Its been a year since that, and nothing! (Knock on wood)
Nick.
