a) 180 into opposite trafficb) 360 into my own trafficc) 90 into 3" thick tree

a) trying to avoid a deer (ended up with nose ponting towards the correct flow of traffic)b) trying to be cool (nose again pointing the right way)c) steering failure, either tie rod broke while I was turning or the steering gears got jammed, either way I have a dent on the left fender, and that tree went down like it was a straw.

Seriously, deers suck, I got a new boot for the steering assembly, and I will never play around in the rain, unless it's a deserted parking lot.

My first car was an 88 isuzu trooper, it was a pos, but it ran good, one night a freind and I decided to trade cars, and I drove his 88 trans am gta (vette in trans am body) well, he decided to four wheel in the wrong place, run from the cops, and push the roof to the fenders, after wrecking my trooper, I decided i would never let any one drive my car again with out me in it. Need less that thing died.

aaahhh

my first car was a 93' Geo Prizm Lsi, i loved it when it was bequeathed to me by my mother, automatic, teal, i spray-painted gold 5spoke wheelcovers for it (since i wanted it to look like a Scooby), i briefly joined the C-Three board of Corolla owners, i had the decal running along my windshield, i had piaa headlights and bulbs and a k&n filter. LOL. i didn't drive like a ricer, but i was definitely over confident, thinking the abs could save my *** in any situation... i took my lil' Prizm onto some backroads, approached a really tight 'S' curve, all tires lost traction in a fraction of a second i had no idea what happened.

i did a 360 and was facing the other direction, luckily it happened during a time when no one frequents that road, and it looked as though i parked my car in the grass (except it was in foot-deep in mud and had to get towed out)

needless to say, from then on i decided i can't drive, my car sucks(corollas' are notorius for sloppy understeer) and i needed to start autocrossing. Whoo hoo! I'm a loser!

MY first truck was a 76 F-150. 390c.i. motor, cruise-o-matic auto. trans. the exhaust i got it with was dual cherry bomb glass packs that had seen better days. so i replaced them with a new set of twister race mufflers. that beast was loud. i could sit there and twist the chassis with the torque that engine made. it sure was nice. well, i never crashed it, or really got close to crashing it, but i did peel out a lot. i was in the gravel parking lot next to our schools baseball field and i had some friends in the back. they wanted me to peel out. so i did, and i left two very big ruts in the parking lot and ended up spraying my friends civic with gravel...30 ft away. i had a lot of fun in that truck.

Now with ny 240, i did have a minor crash when i lost control in the rain and slid around and did a 360 and ended up in the bushes at my local eckards. that was no fun. other than that, nothing has really happend. ofcourse the close calls that everyone has, someone making a quick stop, someone pulling out infront of you, etc. i plan on taking good care of Roxanne. and hopefully she'll take care of me.

Ahhhhh, I have a story like Megaseth...

My first vehicle was a 79 GMC Sierra with a straight six and a gummy carb. You had to pump the gas petal 25 times and then turn the key. IF it didn't start that time you had to pump it another 25 times and try again. It had a 3 on the tree shifter and it was fun as hell to drive. We have some stock tanks for catfish on our place and they have levees behind them and I used to get the truck up to about 55mph and jump those biznatches. You could get it about 6 feet up in the air :D Eventually I ended up breaking the battery out of it's holder and popping out the headlight. Then I eventually ran it really really hard for like 2 hours and cracked the head. I knew something was wrong when it went from 14mpg down to 6 and started making interesting noises. That truck was cool, but I don't miss it.

My second car was a 74 VW Super Beetle. Never had any problems with it and I loved it. Had to sell it after high school so I could make the 300 mile round trip to college. Man I miss that car.

next car was a brand new 99 Cavalier sedan with the 2.4 TC engine in it. I put on a full suspension with konis and eibach springs, swaybars, STB's and some hella fat (for a cav) 225 tires. Then I blew up the transmission autocrossing a couple of months ago and sold all of my parts from the cav to buy my 1990 240 Fastback.

I think that I like the 240 because it just kicks ***. It is lots of fun to drive and the aftermarket is unbelieveable, nothing like the J-body aftermarket. I did garner a lot of respect with the Cav though because I averaged 4th out of 24 in SSM runnin againcs C4's, GT's and Turbo AWD Talons.

The 240 will own them all soon.... MUAHAHAHAH!!!!

well, havent wrote in a while, but since this is my field, maybe i will enlighten yall on what a bad driver actually is.lets see, i cant even remember its been so longi still have my first car so i guess it belongs hereId like to start off saying that my dad runs a body shop, so for the past 7 yrs, he has been putting in considerable work on my car1st accident: I was sick and ran into dads cady, those things are made like rocks, no damage to him, but hey i crushed my passenger rear fender, yeah

2nd accident: Driving down the 101 in caly, brake lights apperr, slid for a few yards, and went through a trailor hitch, once again no damage to him, but i had a hole in my front bumper

3rd accident: parking brake failed, car went down a hill into a tree that sucked finding that

4th accident: got my new exaust, decided to listen to it, with the door open, the guy left it in reverse ( of course i didnt check, having my liscense for a few weeks and all ) i have no clutch in and start to stall out. Now i went for the brake to make the car go nowhere, but hit the gas on accident, RIPPED MY DOOR OFF AND RAN OVER A HOMIES FOOT , he didnt like that and that sucked.

5th accident: Now i decided to be a beter driver and not let myself get out of controll anymore, but hey, things arent always as you plan them. A lady stopped in front of me and then decided to parellel park into my bumper, got a $3,000 stereo out of this one

6th accident: Guy does the same thing, parrell parks into my front bumper, got a nice set of enkei rims and nitto tires out of that one.

7th accident: Then i got reckless ran over a curb, 2 new tires later im back on the road

8th accident: same bullsh*t but this time im trying out my drifting skills on an offramp, oops, two more tires, ill tell you what those enkei rims can take a beating, not a dent on them.

so here i am 2 years later, finally learned how to drive. had the car for 7 and it prolly hates me, even though i love it

so dont drive stupid, drink and drive, or .............well just dont be stupid

shes still pretty,...like i said my dad runs a shop.

theres probably more, in fact i know there is, but cant remember, its late

Before I got my first car I would always drive my mom's 1985 Buick Skyhawk station wagon and boy did I treat it like crap.

I would always rally that thing on back roads and try to slide it everywhere I went. I had a bad habit of dropping the auto into 1st off the line and not shifting up until I heard it choke (massive valve float).

Eventually my mom go a new car and we tried to give the Buick to a friend because it wasn't running right. Well he took me aside and told me that the cam had been rounded out.

Glad I don't drive like that anymore...

on a side note: this is why I get pissed when I see 16y/os in $40k cars. Kids always fk up their first car; let them destroy a $500 Geo, not a BMW!

My first car was a '97 vw golf gl k2 edition. I had just lowered it and had z rated rubber put on my rims so I was really testing the cars limits as far as turns were concerned, and at the time I was stationed in upstate NY and the roads are a circuit drivers dream. So I'm going a long a road on a fine autumn evening at normal speed (40 in a 30) that I went down like twice every day for months, but it was a bit foggy and I couldn't really see the asphalt. Well I didn't realize I was on a patch of wet leaves until my hooptie kept on going foward when I was trying to make a somewhat sharp turn that I almost never slow down for. I took out a stop sign and made some neat trenchs in the wet grass when I plowed to a stop from about 40mph. Luckily there was no ditch or trees in that area so I was able to drive her home. But that mark from the stop sign is still there and I have a lot more respect from wet leaves and fog!

now for my first car....

not a wreck but definitely a dumb act.

1988 celica w/pace setter exhaust and 15x7 rims.I was going to college just 60 miles from my home and the school was in a crappy little town. the result, I went home nearly every day. The roads to my home town wound through the forests of southern oregon and were a blast to drive and quite dangerous . There were long straits, sharp corners, blind hills, and my favorite... long straits turning into tight corners over blind hills.Anyway. I found from a number of people that it takes about 2 hours to get from town to town. It takes my mom 1.5 hours to get from one to the other and she likes to go everywhere at 80mph (I got my foot from her). My best time is 45 minutes. I didn't believe it, but I looked at my watch before and after...

during this "personal best" I took a corner marked at 45 doing 105mph and the car just stuck to the ground. Take into consideration that this road has a lot of logging truck traffic and the corner had a minor bank to it, but still!!!

Oh well, Im not that dumb anymore. I have never totalled a car and have never been in a wreck because of my schnannigins, but I do hate deer... and one cow, but those are different stories.

deer--> taurus SHO, headlight broken (bosses car)cow-(I like to call it a huge deer w/utters)-->240sx, fender gone:(

but all animals are Ok and the 240 is better than ever :)

well lets start in the year 99. I bought my first 95 240sx around december time and only had it for a shoort period before i left for marine corps boot camp on Jan. 18. I was tupid in buying it though because i didnt find out until recently that it had a salvage title. Not to mention that the airbags have already been deployed and that it had SE badges when it was only a four lug hub. I didn't know any better until a couple years ago. Any way i finished off the 3 month boot camp and then went back home to hawaii for 10 days and then went to camp pendleton for the school of infantry and then got stationed in camp lejeune NC. All of this took about 6 months or so after some more training. Well i finally got the chance to get my car ship from hawaii for free. when i got it in late november of 2000 i was happy. on dec. 7th of the same year my room mate asked me to drop him off at the airport which was a 2 and a half hour trip. i was fine on the way to the airport but i was getting tired on the way back. By the way it had been snowing for the past couple of days and this was the first time i have been driving while it was snowing. 5 miles from base i started to dose off and when i woke up to find that there was a parked car on the the side of the road where i drifted off too... i jerked the wheel and did a 180 and rear ended the parked car with my rear end. luckily i only skimmed the parked car only taking out one of his tail lights. i the did a 360 into a ditch. i ****ed up my whole rear tail light bar along with the bumper and the left side of my car from the ditch. it was still driveable though hehe. well some nice guys from the Mike Corado Band where behind me on the road and the stopped to see if i was ok. They called a wrecker for me and all. Since they only lived a couple blocks away we went to their house and ate some food until the cops and the wrecker came by. they gave me a complimentary cd which was pretty cool. when i went to court to get this thing settled. I got off fairly easy since the car the was parked on the side of the road was parked illegaly and it didnt go on my insurance whew. saw another 95 240sx at a dealership in nc and bought it with my previous red 240 as a trade in haha. got my current 240 for $5,421 with the old 240 going for a 1000 trade in. the red 240 was junked by the dealership and i got off with a newer 240 that was actually a SE and had full leather and spoiler and chin spoiler and an after market sunroof that liked to leak on me.

thats my story.

my 240 is my first car. had it for over a year with no accidents. i have however done lots of things that just made me feel really dumb.

yesterday i backed into my friend's basketball goal and put a dent and nice white scrape on the passenger side rear fender.

one time i took a turn too fast on really cold tires (no faster than usual, but usually the tires arent at 30 degrees!). spun 180 degrees and ended up facing the wrong way in my lane. i have never gotten going faster than when i did that, as i knew very well that a minivan was barreling after me.

not long after i had gotten the car running i high-centered it on a rock next to my friend's driveway. it was a freaking 40 degree incline and my brakes decided not to hold. i had the wheel turned to get around something in the garage and it kept going that direction without much warning. backing over that thing sounded sooooo bad, luckily it was only a frame rail getting the paint scraped off of it, no noticable damage.

thats about it for now, im sure there are about 200 others and ill post them when they come to me.

My first car was Beast! motor would rumble at a stop shaking everyone and everything in the car.

It was a 89 honda accord LX 2.0 4door Carburated! Automatic...! Beat the liven daylights out of it. Was times it was Spewing steam out of the hood from the radiator leak, busted o ring, somehow tore off a full lip off the power steering pully. power slides galore... neutral drops, dirt road wanna be drifting. took it down dirt roads to get to the river... you should have a 4x4 truck to get down these damn roads... fans busted so going slow meant over heating i flew up the dirt road just hearing it bottom out. shocks shot out it was a boat it swayed so much stopping. electrical problems it rumbled and flickerd the battery light at stops, replaced the altenator and battery and it still continued.front bumper held on by bailing wire (came like that).

the only visible dent that happend when i owned the car was the driverside front fender. someone called in a bomb threat at my school and everyone was waiting out in the parking lot. I waited 30mins and said screw it, hopped in my car and was heading out of the parking lot friend jumped on hood and left a dent larger then a soft ball in the fender with his knee. many many accidents almost accured in that car, but im not one to hesitate to honk instead i manuever or swerve.

I swear i will never go back to Honda again! btw sister owns the accord now :D
