First Artisan Exhaust on a 2.5 A/C!!!

How much do you suppose it would cost a shop to fabricate something like this? I mean, it's a very simple design and the muffler is just a 6" Magnaflow race can (~$80 for that...). Seeing as turbochargers.com is asking $700+ for it, does anyone think it would be cheaper to get it custom made? I'm not familiar with the costs of pipes and bending them so I truly have no idea here!

If you have access to a very long tube and a mandrel bending +soldering machine. you could do it for yourself very cheap and sell for maximum profits like turbochargers...

I went to a shop long before i even found this forum, and the guy was gonna fabricate a 2.5" custom exhaust for me and it was gonna be a little under $600 including labor, set up was a bit different but should be close to the same price. One thing you should consider tho is the quality of the work and the pipes. Theres a lot of shady shops out there.

The Artisan system is high quality w/o a doubt. Very nice welds, all made by hand. When the guy was tryin to shorten the pipe for me, he was havin trouble gettin the pipe to cut. Very Durable

Oh and i did hear that Alien_Tracker got his for $600 shipped from turbochargers.com.

When I called them about the system, I told them that it was listed on this forum for $600 shipped through their website and a few others. They said they would sell it to me for that price. Done deal. It just took about 2 weeks to get it because they don't stock them. They make it after it's been ordered.

Did you look at the ones i posted? lol i might be able to make another one tomorrow but i cant promise anything.

My coupe is N/A and i dont think it sounds raspy at all. She purrys while idling and growls at WOT. Its just what i wanted

This is the same exhaust on mcheddadi's 3.5. Its actually the exact same exhaust. he was sellin it on the forum and i bought it. Sounds just as good on the 3.5

Yeah I saw that too lol. Then I saw Alien_Tracker's video and it sounded really different to me, so it threw me off. Now I'm not so sure about it.

Yeah that does sound a lot different. I dont think the camera bein farther away would make that much of a difference cause its not a quiet exhaust. Bein that close to an open garage might have something to do with it tho. it sounds a lot deeper on both mine and mcheddadi's. It is possible that his isnt broken in just yet cause i know his is brand new, and i got mine used, but i dont know for sure.

Im gonna try and make a couple more vids tomorro tho. I'll try and do a take off and i drive by too.

It is pretty quiet at idle which i like, but it sounds great otherwise... This was the first time i got to hear it from a takeoff/drive by without bein the one behind the wheel...lol

I love the growl it makes when i turn it off too
