why get rid of the t3/t4 for the 60-1, which do you prefer? You ran 12.5 on the t3/t4? what were the specs on the turbo? I'm thinking about upgrading, seems everybody recommends a t3/t4 over the 60-1

im using the q45 maf clip.. its a semi 4 wire.. black/white and a third wire that is a black and a white together... im gonna call my local infinity dealer to find out what wires are what so i can hard wire it.. also with the SAFC.. i can change the sensor type to match the q45 maf..

i ran a 12.9 with the t3/t4 and a 12.5 with the 60-1 and picked up 2mph.. t3/t4 is good if your not gonna boost a whole lot(8-12 range) but for higher boost.. the 60-1 is gonna make more power..

Don't know if this helps, 26 is black, 27 is white, and the wire to the relay is B/W. I don't have a q45 fsm so I don't know what 26 and 27 actually are.

That adapter looks nice, what pipe did you use to make it?

Q45 MAF's are only 2bar MAF's correct? I do know they are bigger than the Z32 by a fair amount, but isn't that a fairly big tradeoff since you loose resolution after 1bar of boost?

From what I found on the Skylines Downunder forum the Q45 maf has more resolution.

I did a google search on that info and found what you were talking about. I agree with good experience over theory, so it looks like it should work the way you say it will. Wouldn't it make since for it to loose resolution when pushing over 1bar boost when it's only a 2 bar MAF (granted i'm sure it depends on how much over a bar you go)?

I plan on running a MAP setup myself, but it is alwasy interesting to figure this stuff out.

There is a HKS VPC that you can run with a GCC (GCC is like a SAFC controller), that converts you system to a MAP and control fuel with the GCC. Second hand, these are not that bad money wise.

Cyris, do you have any clearance issues with the down pipe and steering shaft?I have the same box set-up with a t3/t4 but with an internal wastegate. I have't tried it on because the engine is out. But looking at your pics I may have clearance problems.

I was going off the basis of it used on ebay. I have seen both go for 400 together on ebay for the 20.
