well, probably have until next weekend. the other stuff won't ship from japan until around endof next week, but that depends on when other things arrive there to be shipped here.. worst case, its just delayed.. maybe cost a few more $ but not much, since they're small sending them won't cost much by themselves anyways.. APO for teh win

well apparently the guy in japan was given the wrong price, so it may be a bit more, not sure what as of now.. as for not getting them shipped before the weekend not really a big deal since they'll be cheap (just a fwe $$ at most) to ship seperately, so not a huge rush ATM..

will post again when I know what they really cost..

i received the gears a few days ago, finally found my micrometer

they are definatly smaller, i get a 10.65 ID inside the threads, but the bevel right before teh threads is dead on at 12mm. the HLSD is 13, so i will definatly need them

yeah the point to measure is the part before the threads.

still hven't gotten an update on this unfortunately, this was at the same time the guy in japan was moving from one place to another, but I am going to kick my contact a few times to try and get back on top of this and find out what it's going to cost to get the bolts.

Damnit, I just bought a CA18DET VLSD. How long do I have this pricing for, as it may be a couple of weeks before I've got the money.

pretty much would need to get the $$ in the next week. It won't be impossible to get it in the future, but I can't say for sure if the price will be the same or not.

I know float's a forum whore and should see this shortly but I went ahead and emailed you Tyrannix since you supplied your email address already (should have noticed it sooner or I would have emailed you earlier)

I'm working on it damnit. I screwed up when I paid for my VLSD and sent the money out of my checking account instead of my CC. I got it refunded and paid with the CC, but I've got to wait for the money to come out of my account, go to paypal, and then get it refunded back to my checking account from paypal, which is what I'm waiting on right now. The money should be back in my account Tuesday or Wednsday.

No, I switched the funding around. And I will too join the club as well. Although my friends arne't happy about it. No one of my friends thinks that a Helical is better than a clutch. They all said that the clutch is better, regardless of whether I'm using it for AutoX or not.

My only conern is if I were ever to get one of the back wheels off of the ground, I'd loose some serious time. But I don't think I've ever seen a RWD car lift it's rear tire in an AutoX.

Other than that, I see no appeal to the clutch type whatsoever. High maintenence, noisy (obviously), and possibly causing more oversteer/understeer.
