Teins couresty of Falkdesigns (no longer on here ) Might buy a set of Esperili and cut a coil, it needs to go just a tad bit lower, or coilovers

I agree, the stance right now is awesome. Low for looks and still functional.

Yeah I had Falkens 452's on my 18s and these are a lot softer. I like the overall ride with these more, but haven't really had them at high speeds yet, stayed under 85 thus far. Have to thank Falkdesigns on the tire recommendation , he's going to be missed.

Yeap but he's still around, might even have his own forum in a a lil bit

Unfortunately, Kevin felt that it was important to exploit the VT situation as a spring board to spread his personal political agenda, esp gun control (this was in Gen chat). It was pretty insensitive and untactful, and rather than stop when warned, he continued to propagate his views. It sux, 'cause I love his car, but he totally deserved the ban.

Man your car looks great! I have 20's on mine and I want to lower it about 1.5" to 2" max. I hate all of the fender well space. I read that you were going to put your friend 20's on your car to see how it does....let me know because I will do the same set up like yours. Your car fender well space is exactly what I am looking to do to mine. BTW, what size tire is your friend running? I have 245/35/20 and what do you suggest on the springs to use to get the 1.5-2" drop?

Exploit is a strong word to use in this case, I re-read that thread several times and came the conclusion while most were caught up in the moment, Kevin went outside of the subject matter and stated his beliefs on why atrocities like this are so easy to come by. Now I'll admit it was just wrong place wrong time....

I just got off the phone with my friend, he's running 245/35/20 and 275/30/20 as for the springs, if his work on mine I'll say go with the Tein lowering springs or check for Esperili, there's been some talk about them lately. Also the KYB Shocks might also come in handy as stock shocks are a lil too soft if you're roads aren't that good.

The wheels look good. All Y33 should be dropped like that as there's too much wheel gap as stock.

By the way, that MG is hot.

I cried and told my therapist about Kevin getting banned. Not.

Those wheels and that ride height are perfect. The whole car looks long, low, and mean.

First off, it is not appropriate to discuss this without kevin able to defend himself.

He asked me to not allow this mindless chatter about him, and I think that is a reasonable thing...

I have no problem with Kevin, and because he may have done something quesitonable on the forum is no reason to attack his character. He said inappropriate things, and he felt no remorse for those comments, therefore he will remain banned indefinitely. I really hope that mudslinging does not happen, because in a recent conversation he is still on good terms with me and the Q forum. I just dont want the Q guys to get split up, and things might get ugly...

I encourage everyone to read this thread, the thread he was banned for, and come up with your own conclusions.

zerothread?id=243536

Did the offenses warrant banning?? Under normal circumstances, no, but to talk about gun control hours after the largest shooting in American history??

From now on, I would appreciate it if we just get this out of our system and move on.

Yeah, and little mirror thingies to interfere with your forward vision.

Kevin is a great guy. Funny, though, if you read his VT gun comments and substitute the word car, then to be logically consistent, no one should be allowed to drive either.

Maxnix, do you mean the Fusa Giant Tassel with the cool knot? If so I've had mine for almost 5 months hasn't bothered me a bit, but to each is own. Well I guess my style sucks also, because I'm about to get Garson rear curtains
