yea, I got my car running last week. and it's awsome.

let me tell you what I got in my car, it's not too much, but I just wanna share.

I got a s13 sr20 in my 91' 240 coupe. I did the swap in my own garage with help from my neighbor that's a mechanic. I put a 3'' exhaust with no cat from the turbo all the way back. I have the smic and the jdm radiator. I have a electronic boost controller, and a turbo timmer from greddy and the type rs bov. and a walbro 255 fuel pump. thats all Ive intalled for now, still more to do. but for no I was wondering if anybody knows how to check the throttle position sensor.

Im having problems in the mornings when I try to start it. It trys to start and then it shuts doff by itself. and car shakes real bad. I try to step on the gas but the rpm wont go up. I have to go thrugh this like 3 or 4 times untill im able to hit the gas and keep the rpm between 2 and 3k and hold it untill it warms up real good.

Does anyone have the same problem or knows anything about this. any help will be opreciated thanks alot, Again, It Is awsome!!!

You can check the voltage on the TPS,0.35-0.65V when closed and 4V when open.Just warm up the car, shut it off,But leave the key so the fuel pump is on.And hook a needle to the postive side of the voltmeter and stick it in the middle wire of the TPS harness.I think its white.

try checking your coolant temp sensor, also, when I forgot to plug my MAF in it did that.

These are the readings I got for the tps. With the switch on and the throttle closed I get 0.713 and with the throttle open all the way ,I get 4 v. Does anyone know if those numbers are right ?

If these numbers are right, does anybody have any suggestions on what I should check next?

Also, where is the coolant temp sensor?

the coolant temp sensor is next to the TPS switch. I forget if it's the red plug, or if it's the spade connector plug. They both get temp readings, but one sends it back to the ECU, the other is for the dash.
