It is illegal to tint the windshield but so many people get away with very dark tinted windshield with this most people from what I notice assume it's a factory windshield like the S class benz and other higher end cars. So I never had issue with police even when I had suntek hp blue 50% on my windshield it was still visibly clear. This tint didn't obstruct view inside or out side u can still see in the car and it isn't reflective to the on coming driver it only reflects at 90 degrees of angle so unless u are the sun or if u walk up to the windshield and look down is the only reflection u can see. And at night it is completely clear.wideopn11 wrote:Looks great, I love everything about this. This might be a silly question but I'm wondering what to do about the inspection stickers, county stickers and so on that some states like mine require. How do people with tinted windshields handle this?
Years ago in St. Louis, MO the tint guy peeled the sticker from my windshield. The next time I had my emissions test I just asked the guy to stick it on some book/card I always had in the car.wideopn11 wrote:... wondering what to do about the inspection stickers, county stickers and so on that some states like mine require. In the numerous times that I had been pulled over back then, not once had anyone asked about that sticker.
The DMV sequence was insurance + safety & emissions test = registration receipt, so if I show my registration card, everything else should be good, right? Which isn't necessary either, because they could verify whether my registration was current by scanning my plates.
