Finally found a true polarized windshield film. Like most S class Mercedes the windshield glass is polarized. This window film is 83% amazing quality and technology. As seen on my M45 I hate black tint or dark tint. My rear and side windows are Sunteck Hp blue 50 and now my windshield will be Clima Comfort 83%. Ultravision films they are in Russia. It took me years to find this I will be the secound person in the country with it. The other guy is in California. Getting it installed tomorrow will updated.

This is a picture of Clima Comfort 83. Image
I will post my installed pictures tomorrow. The film Darkens and lighten depending on the sunlight. from inside the car is a amber hue. Like my Suntek HP Blue at night looking at the window from outside the car is almost 100% VLT

It would be nice to see pictures in different light. I am one of those that tint their windshields due to a strong light sensitivity, so this is interesting... depending on price of course.

I watched a video of them tinting an FX and it seems like the VLT of this one is comparable to lighter-looking tint.

Ok have it installed seems like it's designed at Omni coming driver level it's no reflection to the driver if u walk close at 60 degrees then u see the reflection to block the sun on that angle. When driven it's a warm amber hue. I ordered Clima Deep light for back up just in case cops pull me over

It's definitely some technology going on it's basically clear but changes depending on conditions. But driving leave on coming traffic it doesn't reflect at all I can't explain.Image

Wow, in this picture it's definitely blue.
Then the next one it is very reflective.

I understand it might be hard to put it in words, but would you be able to do a video walking around & changing positions relative to the windshield? Then an inside view. Please & thanks

The shop where I have my windows tinted offers a clear windscreen film that blocks 90% IR and 99% UV.
IR is responsible for the heat you feel while driving. UV is responsible for damaging surfaces inside the car and also your skin. It is crystalline and non-metalized so it has no effect on GPS or cellular reception.
I believe they charged me $150 and it makes a huge difference. In dead-on high noon sun at 92 degrees, you can place your hand on the inside of my windscreen and the surface is not hot. There is also no heat on the dash so the air/con starts out cold instead of the vents shooting warm air until the vents cool down. It also prevents fading of dash and seats and the steering wheel isn't hot either. I think they called it 3M CR90 but not sure.

That's amazing man. It seems the film is mainly photochromic like transition lenses but with some chameleon work. See how it was mostly clear in the gas station shot? And if I paid any attention in class, you should be able to tell if it's polarized by looking through polarized sunglasses tilted at 90 degrees. Either way, it's cool to get the daytime protection without sacrificing nighttime vision.

Would you be open to sharing the cost of the whole process?

I think you're on the money. I'm still shocked. I ordered the clima Deep light 83% as well it's a less colorful version with the same 83%. should be here in 7 business days. So maybe in couple months I will put it on. Basically testing to see whitch one I prefer better. The clima Deep light doesn't have the yellow hue when inside the car and less shine. But I was shocked at night pretty cool stuff so far I'm happy. Give it couple days to fully dry should look better.

Looks great, I love everything about this. This might be a silly question but I'm wondering what to do about the inspection stickers, county stickers and so on that some states like mine require. How do people with tinted windshields handle this?

I'm in PA I haven't had any issue I actually just got new stickers today. Guess it depends on who is doing your inspection.
