hope its not as epic a disappointment as those rice chrome junks . . . i've learned to not get my hopes up at this point when it comes to grills, i'm growing to love mine as it is =) bluebat stache overlays ftw

Seeing as the current AIT grille replacement for the sedan is a gorgeous CF piece, I don't think we have to worry about the design being too flashy or "blingy"...I'm excited for this!!!!!

I agree. If the one for the coupe looks anything like the one for the sedan, it will look good and go really well with my black coupe.

you serious? I really hope they don't do something like that, what a waste it would be. we already have TONS of those style of grilles for the coupe. what we need is a mesh type grille , and not the same one as the sedan's version. that center column type thing in the middle is ugly.

here's what I'd like them to do:

+1Mesh and then some more mesh on the side, with a side of mesh and a large mesh mesh.

No fugly plastic chrome... period!!!

I'd like something like this... a sort of framing of the mesh that is already started on the top stock but continues around the bottom of the border....

yep thats what I proposed, the chrome part would just be duraflex or carbonfiber like the rest of the grille (Except the mesh part) so I could be color matched to the car. I left the chrome only because I was lazy lol

you do understand that you'll have to paint your front bumper for that since the side and upper part of the grille are molded in the front bumper. I'd much rather color match the lower part of the grille than paint it completely black and then have to paint the side and upper part on the bumper too.
