I just ordered a stock Altima coupe grille for 65$ to mod. I'm going to merge the bottom with fiber glass and maybe plexiglass and put a mesh grille in it. We'll see how it goes.

the t-rex would look better if the frame wasn't so thick IMO

The frame has to be thick do to clips that are around some areas of the grille. There is a video made by Kyle@Stillen that explains why that is, but I can't find it at the moment. Hope that explains it for you.

Ok an update. I've gutted the grille in two and just finished removing the honeycombs from the top part with my angle grinder lol.

the lower part should be way easier so I should be done with that soon. I'm going to bondo all the imperfections and then sand it all.

Also I just ordered a nice thick .09" 12"x48" grille to go with it. Should be there next week.

Right...I'm bringing this thread back from the dead. Mehdi, what's the status on your project here?

I though that Stillen said that is couldn't be done on the coupe! Something about needing a center support system.... Anyone else remember this? I don't understand what is different from the sedan.

Just received a msg from C-mod on ebay. He estimates the coupe version will be available in about a month's time. Can't wait!

I never get my hopes up on a vendor's time table... if they are saying 1 mont, its probably more like 2-3 months... *sigh*

I agree, it's like the rule of three with sex - girls, take the number and x3, for guys - divide by 3, and you get the real number. With part companies - x6 months and you get the actual timeline. 1 month = 6, 2 months = year, etc.
