Damn that's a good looking coupe. I like the wheels, and the sizing, but we need more of a profile shot to get the full effect.

Amen, but why the RE 750? Better tire for a Buick Century.

What would you recommend?

I haven't found a better tire in the rain than Bridgestones. Previous set on my 15's were RE950's. Lasted thru 3.5 yrs of daily driving, backroad bombing, and autocrossing. I was going to get them again except there was a rebate on the RE750's and they're more a summer tire anyway. Pole Positions would've been ideal but they lack the treadwear i'm looking for and are practically $200 a tire.

best tire i've had experience with in the rain is the goodyear eagle f1 gs-d3. all the reviews at the tire rack seem to echo my sentiments.

your car looks nice with the new wheels and your paint is in incredible shape. overall......stunning

Yeah, I was lookin' at the Goodyear one, had good results from TireRacks' testing and reviews but the treadwear was so-so. I was looking for something that I could get a few summers out of. Couldn't beat the rebate either.

You should have gone with BFgoodrich G-Force sports. Very good tire at an amazing price!

Hmm. Lots of the reviews I read said the G-Force's exhibited a lot of sidewall squirm. Considering I had a/s BFG's on my car before, I had to concur. Bstones's just have a rock-solid sidewall in my previous experience w/ the RE950's.

Thanks Mercer

The trunk was repainted since I swapped it out for a spoilerless lid, i never wanted to put those badges back on. Looks cleaner that way. The mudflaps I'm afraid to take off because of the paint job it received before I bought it. It looks as though they didn't even remove them when they painted the car. The fogs are icky, i know, I want to get some Raybrigs to take their place because there are lots of deer around here and I do a quite a bit of night-driving.

I don't know why Greg and Alan call me Chris. Its ChrisTINE.

Really? O_o They have 340 treadwear, that's pretty damn good for a UHP IMO. I made my RE950 a/s (400 treadwear) last for 3 yrs. This is a summer set btw.

Heheh. Yeah. I'm not concerned about what they think. I just hate when they jack my threads w/ nothing good to say.

I keep meaning to get a profile shot for you guys but the weather has been pretty nasty lately. Hopefully tommorow will clear up...

Looks great! Lightweight 16" wheels that actually fit our cars ROCK! I'm still on a quest for some nice 16" wheels. Kind of like Ahab and the White Whale...probably go to my death chasing these mythical wheels. :D

I thought you were going to go with Team Dynamics? I mean, geez, its been long enough, if you ordered them from what-his-name at the warehouse in CA back when I was telling people about them--they would've been here by now! And in the offset you want!!

Shhhh! Don't go telling people about nice wheels in happy offsets that don't cost a fortune. Then everyone will get them and and they'll be as commonplace as the fn's. (btw, if you want some, get them soon, because prices are going up due to the rising cost of aluminum.)

Have you had any experience with the BFG g-Force T/A KDW-2's? I'm currently debating between those and the RE750's.

I really liked the Team Dynamics Pro Race wheels and even talked to the guy here in the US. I just wasn't comfortable buying wheels that would take months to replace.

In the event I would bend or crack one, it would suck to wait 4 months for a replacement.

I'm looking around for nice Kosei K1 or Enkei RPO-1 wheels in 16x7. I've got a bunch of other stuff to fix on my car, so it's not a huge rush right now. I've got my trusty steel wheels and some crappy all-season tires that I abuse daily. :D
