Very nice! I didn't think I'd like the 02+ rims on the older Q, but those look really good!

WOW! She's purdy!

We have the same interior...I agree with Heath - Those rims DO look good. Are they 17's or 18's?

Wow, thanks for the compliments guys. Those are the '02 Q45 18" (Premium package) rims. They have 245/45/18 Michelin rubber on em.

That is sooo nice! I have the same colors in a 92 with all the gray trim painted to match the car. I just passed on a set of those wheels because I did not think they would look good. Boy, am I sick now! They look incredible! I just looked around at the usual suspects..ebay etc. None available, anybody know a good source for these takeoffs, I will of course ask my local dealers.

SWEEEEET RIDE!!!!!

Yes, I love the 18" wheels. I tried for weeks to get some, and settled on som aftermarket 17" wheels. I have my eyes pealed for some 18" chrome Q45 or M45 wheels for my ride. I have the 17" chrome versions on my I30, and they look great.

awww bummer you passed on those Q45Viper! Supposedly the guy I bought the car from got these rims/tires for $1000 almost brand new, but then again he does work at Infiniti! hehehehe Honestly though, I wouldn't know where to get them besides the dealer.

YOU DONT HAVE TO YELL SO MUCH!!! :D :D :D

Just thought I'd give ya a hard time...

Yes, it does have active suspension (although the ride height switch doesn't do anything as far as I can tell), but it doesn't indicate so on the rear badging. I am honestly confused on that part, I don't know if its supposed to say Q45"a" or not. Thanks for the compliment!

Bgilly, I passed at $450 for wheels only! I just could not visualize it. Good news is that thanks to your pictures I now know EXACTLY what I want. Imatation is the sincerest form of flattery you know! And the fun is in the hunt.

Bgilly's got a stinkin' nice ride guys! He was nice enough to let me check it out a couple weeks back. Infiniti tech-owned and cared for, and the actsus is Texasoil's proving ground! Also has the TCS. I flipped out when I saw it, especially when I found out how much he paid for it!

Glad to be of service Q45Viper! hahaha I know exactly what you mean though, I used to do the same thing with my cars in the past. Kinda 'steal' my modification ideas based on others' trials and tribulations. And yep, this car was the prototype car (according to the guy I bought it from) for Texasoil's active suspension "refill" kit. Lucky for me it was all done and refilled at 70,000, and now its only got 79,000, so I've got lots of time left before I'll have to do it again.

But yeah, I agree, these boards let us all see what works best and then use it ourselves. I love message boards! They have assisted me SOOO much in the past with all my cars, and even other products like home theater, electronics, computers, etc.

I noticed you didn't have a strut tower brace. There is a thread from Azhitman, where he put a brace on his Q, called 'Low-budget FSTB project a success!', and another one called 'Front Strut Bar for "00" I30', and another called 'CHEAP STB's for the 90 to 96 Q45!!!!!!!!!'

These have some pics of mine, and some info on where to get one under $20.00 (eBay)

Check it out!

Very Nice! and done in Good Taste.

Does the ride height change after you start the car? From the pictures, it looks almost lowered.

sijoko: Actually, I usually feel the rear of the car go up after shutting the car off. But I don't feel anything when starting the car as far as ride height goes. Thanks again for the compliments guys!

Those wheels do put the finishing touches on that car. I just started working (1st job) whoop whoop, when I get the money, wheels are the 1st exterior change I’m going to make…

By the way nice are Q :)

Very nice.... I am thinking about sometime getting a set of rims like that, and now I know how they look. How much different do you think the Q45a is from the standard one?

SWEET RIDE, i hope to be able to outfit mine to that someday, if i ever get some money.

very clean, very sweet

nothing quite like a shiny black Q to make anything nearby on the road to look like a mickey-mouse snap fit skill level 1 plastic model.

roll on. those wheels go very nicely, although if they were chromed...ooh la la

Nice car. I must say under the lighting (or maybe it's the laptop screen) it does look black. Color combo and those wheels are sweet. Mine's the same year, no A, but TCS.

You should do a write up and get it posted in the members ride section, if you haven't already.

Noticed a 1994 Q45t in Washington, D.C., badged as such, without the rear spoiler. It was in traffic, so I couldn't verify if it was mis-badged or never had the spoiler.

Maybe the guy was like me and liked it better without the rear spoiler. hehehehe There's a guy here at work with a '94 Q45t with a spoiler, and if I had one I think I'd take it off.
