I prefer the rear spoiler, especially when backing, and for getting the CHMB out of the rear window.

Thinking about adding it to my standard, after everything else is done first.

The upper manifold looks weird, but when it connects to the lower manifold it curves and goes in to the heads in a standard configuration.

You can see it if you look closely under the upper plenum.

i see. so it has an upper and lower intake manifold. i wonder if that could be optimized in some other way. it seems like the intake tract is changing direction a lot before any air gets to the cylinder head.

maybe this flow creates some kind of vacuum or "velocity stack" effect?

Like maybe a 6-71 GM Supercharger, and a couple of 800 CFM Holleys?

Actually, it is a very straight path from the plenum to the intake valve, which is what counts. There is no variable intake runner length.

Q45tech has discussed the design extensively in previous posts and how it is optimized for the torque peak of the engine. It all starts at the intake with its resonator and particle traps.

keystone: I didn't do it myself, so I can't tell you exactly, but I know it wasn't steam cleaned. My buddy is an excellent detailer, and I believe he cleaned it one part at a time and then applied some of the stuff that makes it shiny.

Long runners = high rpm horsepower, not as much low end power; short runner = lower peak power, not as much top end.

Never have seen that color. Interior or exterior.

Intresting someone installed the standard wheels on a t model. Wonder what happened to the forged BBS that came with it?

Very nice looking car.

I have seen a few Q's of that color - It's rare, but there's a dealership that specializes in used luxury cars that has had a couple purple ones, as well as the navy blue (also a rare color).

Or read the posts. Much more informative as there is hard design data contained therein.
