Finally got my RB25 From Flashoptions

Discuss the RB20, RB25 and RB26 series engines.

I ordered my RB25DET front clip from Flashoptions about 9 months or so ago, I finally went to the Storage facility and picked it up a few days ago.. Oh boy, right,,,,not hardly.. Flashoptions assured me since I had to wait so long for it it would not only be prestine but hooked up... Not only was it not hooked up but absolutly filthy, the thermostat housing is rusted in two... And it wasnt even a front clip.. about the only thing I got that I can use is the brakes , motor and transmission.. THANKS ALOT FLASHOPTIONS for proving once again that you SUCK! It wouldnt suprise me if the damn thing didnt even run...the factory intercooler was twisted up like a damn pretzel, I dont even know if this would be worhty of putting in my beloved S14..

And flashoptions if by chance you see this dont even try justifying yourselves,,, YOU ARE CROOKS., and you know it.. Thats fine what goes around comes around..

That sucks, sorry to hear you got screwed. Just goes to show, research before you buy and don't always take the great deal. You get what you pay for usually.

Wait, let me know your engine number.. I think we've sent you a rebuilt clip. It's our mistake (send us the engine number for verification)list what's the problem.. let me know asap.. fast FAST!

i had the exact same thing happen to me. it took about 7 months to get it, and they said that they were going to send me "goodies" to make up for the long wait. i ended up getting another clip from somewhere else. the Flashoptions motor set was horrible. I also strongly advise anyone, to not buy from them. it is worth it to spend more money and know that you will get a good product.

FO is horrible. they have got to be the most shady business i have ever heard of. what level of professionalisim is that? absolutley retarded. they tried to come on here a while back under a diffrent name and pull some **** trying to promote a new business. even said bad things about FO and how they are better. they did the same thing on honda-tech about a month ago. they screw you for nearly a year and YOU are a bad customer? my god.

i wish everyone would see what these people are doing. what a joke.

James , I think it's wise you apologized for your childishness.. It doesn't bite anymore.. We did our best , but shippers just tends to screw things up. My boss is furious with you. I do not know what you gain by doing that. If you think you want it this way, guess that's it. You're the only guy going to fight a war on yourself with no benefits. *SIGH* a simple sorry , and a call during 4-5 hours , will be good.. to patch things up

These people want me to spend my money and call them to appologize.. WHAT???????? that is the most rediculous, insane, obsurd, dumb a$$ed thing I have ever read in my life. They want me to appologize to them for their mistake,, they said they would give me a Power fc or a turbo if I appologized..... So ummm what exactly am I supposed to use these products on,, the shotty motor they sent me... THEY ARE INSANE...

I'm one of the first person to get an RB25det from FLASHOPTIONS.COM.. Not good.. Not GOOD .. They promise me a door to door service.. on May 9, 2003.. I got my front clip on Dec. 28, 2003... intercooler.. twisted...twisted...

Had to pay extra.. shipping charge... $700.00..Still like to get something for it.. still not here from them..Mr. Takeshi Kanshiro promise me reimburstment.. but nothing has come from it..

Thats the last e-mail I will post I just want every one who DOESNT know about FO to see what they could possibly be dealing with, I worked hard for the money I sent them. Offering me a turbo or a power FC hardly makes up for How long I waited for my so called front clip, and the product I recieved.

i agree, i have told as many people as i can. i wish and hope for FO to go out of business, i have recieved many emails just like he has said. they Offered me Stickers to put on my car, then send them pictures, and if my car was in a magazine they would send me like $1000 or some BS like that. I hope that everyone that sees this will spread the word about FO.

people are stupid. they dont do enough research and see the prices on FO's site and say "hey they are cheaper than everywhere else, ill just go to them!"

This should be a sticky. I've been hearing Flash Options horror stories since they opened (over a year now)! It's a shame how many people have gotten robbed. It pisses me off to no end knowing that they are so c*cky, hiding behind their keyboards and talking smack...cowards. It's bad enough you operate a shady business, but to be smug about it just shows how lousy these people are.
