I have not got the motor running to be honest its still sitting in the crate, after I fully unwrapped it The rust that I had first thought was the thermo housing was on the intake manifold,,, completely deteriorated..Horrible condition..If someone asked me to guess mileage on a motor that looked this way maybe,,170-200k. Like I said at first It wouldnt suprise me if this motor was trashed..

I remember looking around a FO awhile back seeing the cheap prices good thing you guys spoke up about their bad service, it really sucks that you spend the money on engine and get a box of rust in return. i was on their site and look at this high quality engine and you can buy the body panels too! but why is the hood mold green and note that yummy rust under the hood. Kinda looks like it fell out of the cargo container into the ocean and a week later they pulled it out and stuck it back on the boat:)

at least somebody has recieved something-i ordered my sr20 clip on march 6 2003-still nothing-i recent emailed them with 3 options-refund-send a new clip-or provide the paperwork necessary to allow one of the two clips through that are stuck in customs-

their reply is that they will do nothing and that i was just out of luck!!

after many long hours of searching i may have found a neans to an end-the american embassy in malaysia

so...bumpity bump. Flash options suck. I think i might get into a lengthy campain with them to order containers full of clips. ask tons of questions...get quotes re-qouted over and over. bug them endlessly, then back out at the last moment.

Im not sure about a law suit because keep in mind the laws we have against crap like this over here might not apply in Malaysia (if they even have laws and it doesnt seem like they do).

I would recommend we all (like myself) write letters to , Super Street, Sport compact, Import Tuner, and every mag we can think of and preach the word.....

The only way to hurt these a$$holes is to destroy their business,, I told FO in my last e-mai lthat when I was done they wouldnt be able to sell ice cubes in hell, and I intend on putting all the effort into doing that, that I did earning the money they ripped me for...

i got screwed threw FO, i filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Comission. they have something for overseas business. its not like the BBB, which i believe is only in the US. BUt i like the idea of writing to all of the import mags from everyone that has been screwed, and try to get something published in the mag. about it.

i have fieled complaints with the ftc, fbi and an internet based watch-dog group-all of these make databases of complaints and watch for trends-they do not try to remedy problems that have already occoured-after enough complaints they might prevent the company from importing to the us.

i have found that through the us embassy they have the resources necessary to make these companies comply to us laws and regulations. they have access to malaysian law and lawyers that can make a recovery a reality.

please call or email the embassy so that they will see just how many people are in this situation ans they can help to put a stop to this

Relax buddy, it sucks you got screwed, I am strongly behind you getting what you deserve, just dont act like "Mr. Leiberman" is the end all be all of the imnport scene...he had his time and decided to go the route of rice instead of staying true to what he helped start. He went for big money instead of big respect and that's fine, he made his choice and I respect that.
