This is heresay, but I've heard the urethane bushing inserts work well and really make a difference over the rubber ones. I have also heard that the aluminum ones transmit quite a bit of road noise and are obviously solid, but prevent wheel hop better than the urethane bushings. I guess it boils down to what you want to use the car for, how much road noise you can tolerate, and whether you think you'll need the aluminum bushings or not.

Darius,

Thanks for the info. One of the local guys has the solid inserts in his hatch and said basically "yeah, the inserts are kinda noisy, but well worth it." What I'm leaning towards is making the chassis really stiff, and then putting on some TIEN FLEX series dampeners and possibly an EFDC (later). I'm still open to both sides, but leaning more towards the inserts. Mine is for a daily driver that will see 2-3 track events per year.

One of my lame winter projects is to replace the ***** Nissan horn with a Ferrari sounding horn OR that of a semi-truck. Still have to figure out the details on that one though.

And why did you decide on Tein Flex? Just out of curiousity as I'm trying to nail down a suspension that isn't going to rattle my teeth.

Darius,

The horn idea sonds awesome!

I had been looking around at suspensions that would work for me. One of the local guys has a set of TEIN Drift Spec dampeners, they were a little harsh for me. According to my research, the TEIN Flex series is more of an all-around 16way adjustable coilover. Plus it is EDFC compatible, which I like too. I was interested in the Comfort Master but those are for larger, more VIP cars, not an S-chassis. I had the original intent to go with a super-rigid chassis and then soft dampeners, but decided against it. I am still going to reinforce my chassis though. I'm always open to suggestions on this

And that is part of the reason I paid extra to go with Jarco! I need to figure out how to lock my HICAS unit. The rear sub-frame I received was a HICAS equipped unit, and since, well, I"m not using HICAS I need to lock it straight. I don't really want it to start to turn while I'm driving Thanks for the compliments though!
