I can't see why you ever thought you made the wrong decision. It looks great! I'm looking forward to seeing the car all together.

Thanks dude...the only reason why i thought that was the fact that maybe its TOO much purple and should of done the cage a different color, and 2nd......maybe it shouldnt of been cleared. I was thinking with a darker color like this maybe it should of just been a base and not cleared. Im loving it now though. Next up is gonna be the conversion. Ill be sure to post as it goes on.

As of right now i dont think so......I want to do the s15 but also want my car to be up and running as soon as i can. Im building it from ground up. I love both the s13 silvia and s15 front ends. the s13 was my first choice when i began on another 240sx. I figured since i have all the time in the world why not do the s15, always wanted it on my other s13. But i figured if i save the money that i would be spending on the radiator support, body shop for aligning the body parts and other things here and there all the money could be spend towards the purchase of the SR while already having what i need for the s13 front. So as of right now ill probably be going with the sileighty conversion. Ive always wondered why and by what you meant that i "wouldnt" regret it??? Price wise??? Fitment???

Fitment totally depends on who you get the the parts from and the quality of them on both s15 or s13 sil "sil usually do fit better tho", Price wise you can usually source legit s13 parts easier hence cheaper. Not really a big deal i just have a few buddies that have owned or still own S15 front hatches any they all wish they never got ride of their popups or went s13 sil face.

Dude its totally a preference of look and style and $$$

When a s13 silvia front is pulled off it looks great but thats just my opinion "plus i like drift cars so what do i know LOL"

keep up the good work, is this car gonna get aero because that also plays into the grand scheme of things?

Why do they wish they went with the other front ends??? What problems have they had??? Its definitely getting aero....right now i just bought an Origin Stylish kit locally, its brand new but the dudes car got stolen so he obviously has no use for it. I just have to sell the front bumper since i wont need it. If i go sileighty i wanna do the vertex front bumper. Its the only bumper that i really like on those front ends. If i do the s15 im going to do the Origin Stream front. Will see what i do, i have such a hard time deciding on the front end that im actually just gonna start saving for the SR. And thanks....ill keep posting as the car gets updated....might actually just transfer my thread onto here

Its not about having problems so much as getting tired or bored of the front end that they spent alot of money on. Plus they get bummed when they smash a headlight or blow up a front bummer during tandem but who doesn't. Just harder to get S15 lights of a good price.

Either way no big deal, your car man, just make sure the car is low and the wheels have good offset other wise it doesn't matter what front end you have. Also dont be afraid to scrape your front bummer on the ground its gonna happen, GL man
