not a rising rate....I am going to borrow a wideband if i can....Is it possible that my stock maf could be maxing out at 7psi?

AT 7 psi??!! .... I guess it's possible, but doesn't seem very likely. I've seen lots of people run 7 psi on the stock MAF. Maybe somethings wrong with yours, though.

The maf is brand new...not even 5K miles on it

Sounds like detonation to me.

How do you not know what kind of ECU you are running? did you buy the car with the Turbo on? I would do some research into your fuel and timing control and like everyone else says, Get a wide band
