Yeah I have been searching my local craigslist for the past year looking for a clean 240... They are tough to find, I bought this car the day it was listed, I went to the bank and withdrew $2000 in hundreds and drove to the guys house to purchase. Turns out to be a decent deal, motor wasn't in great shape and still runs a little rough at times, but it will be swapped in a few months... I was just looking to get a car that looks good and needs some tlc... I do most stuff myself, I just had teh motor work done up front to get my parents off my back.. Im installing the Z32 brakes myself and all the brake work, so Im usually learning online about how to do everything, not just guessing and half assing everything... Which seems to be a trend with these cars, I see more nasty a** 240's than i do clean ones, because people tend to do things half assed.

But anywho.

As far as the project goes, there should be a huge update tomorrow night! So keep up with it.

Everything has been ordered for my SR20 Swap!

Ordered a S13 Blacktop from JDMofMiami (So fresh)Buddy Club SpecII exhaustCXRacing full radiator setup with shroud and fansFMICSilicone Radiator Hoses3" downpipeTest PipeMotor Mounts

The motor came with a Nismo Coppermix Clutch with a Nismo Flywheel, like a $1100 setup.

I've already pulled the KA and pressure washed the engine bay, cleaned everything... Its going to be a very clean swap. Pics in a few days.

Here is a breif update on the build. All parts are in, everythings ready to go. I just have to pull these stubborn motor mounts out, and put a new oilpan on the motor. From what I'm told, its a 98 Type X motor, I got it for a good deal so Im happy. Here it is:Christmas Morning! AHHHNice little find...This guy's following my build thread closely..I should have some more pics tonight...

Yeah, I went with Tein Super Streets, they are really good coilovers, and too everyone who says they dont go low enough... I had my car scraping over everything the first day when I bottomed them out... I was gonna get PBM but they had a wait up until August, so I decided I didnt want to wait for them, I got teh teins with only 5k miles on them, no rust, still good coatings, for $700 and theyre like $1400 or something new.

I love mine, and the retared amounts of sweet sexy noise that roars out of it.

Very good start, I eagerly await seeing it finished.

Ive never seen anyone on here with a buddy club specII exhaust, everyone either gets like apexi/hks/greddy/ebay, never a buddy club.. My buddy has one and I liked it so I found one new for $399, cant beat that with a stick.

Motor should be in today, if all goes according to plan...

Yeah I hate dumb looking huge canisters, I like the removable silencer too. On the weekends the block is hot out here, cops will pull you for exhaust all day, and my buddy got a citation for having a sticker that said "goddamn" on it....

Anyways big update on the way in a day or two, stay posted.

Buying an AE86 Hachi today, for $500!

This might slow my build progress. I picked up an HKS acuator and set it to 10psi roughly.. This car should be done soon, I can't wait to drive it, I have actually never driven or even ridden in an SR car, except for my buddies b13 sentra SE-R, and thats fwd and all motor.. Im so excited.

is the 86 SR5 or gts? because i doubt you will find a gts for $500.. be warned.. if it is a sr5... its stupid slow.. like the slowest car i have ever driven slow.. and i had an aftermarket carb on mine that gave me 4-7hp.

But they are still a fun car never the less.. so easy to get sideways and control.

The hachi is for my little brother, hes only 15 and hes into cars and drifting, so slow and new driver kind of go hand in hand, he learned how to drive stick on my ka 240, he cant wait to drive the SR swapped car.

I got a set of lenses and HID's along with H4 conversion...And a custom surprise Im sure everyone will enjoy ( somewhat top secret)...

A big worry for me now is the bov is going to be run atmospheric and I dont want the stalling/lack of idle issues... I might just run recirc when i find some extra cash...

Got the intercooler mounted up, harness in (wire tuck w00t), bov mounted up, all vacuum lines run, vacuum manifold together.

The downpipe I got was wrong, it was welded incorrectly and it like shot out to the side of the car like a top fuel drag car... So i had to buy a downpipe locally, I got a Trust downpipe for $40, not too shabby...

Pics later today.

I just read that you are running a Z32 mafs and a stock turbo...why?

Also, Buddy Club spec II's are the s***. Is this the reason why you asked me at the track what kind of exhaust I had?

Didnt Kenny do most of this work you posted?
