All right some good news, a couple hoses need replacement, I think the only way to figure out what they are is to maybe take a pic, its getting dark and raining but I will try to get those today! As soon as I find the hoses the car is ready to roll!

Ok here is what I have (I think this is it!) (Updated as I discover what hoses are what)No Idea

No Idea

No Idea

No idea

Hose 1 - 14860NA on the list

Hose 5 (not pictured, might as well replace it it seems a little under the weather, 14055M, part of that coolant shaped backwards 7)

Two pics of what I belive is the same hose needing replacement (too many to keep track of for me) Any idea of hose names and where to get them locally, or if Joe is the man on this one?

not so much, but I was so wrapped up the last couple days I forgot to use the search feature!zerothread?id=217467I will try to match those up now with mine, hopefully this does not take long

EDIT

Yea i suck at reading blue and white sheets - found 2 hoses out off the 5 I wanted to grab. I guess when its daylight I will take a peek but printing out blue sheets isn't an option :P. Anybody with good eyes able to spot a couple?

hahaha yea I just want to shoot myself in the head at this point. I finally scavenge up all new parts, took a couple days and 16 auto parts stores to get what I needed... anyways as soon as we get the plenum on we realize there are 2 hoses still not connected... from where to where im not sure because they both start UNDER the plenum so I cant just figure it out logically.

Decide to fill the car up with some antifreze, sure enough hose 1 ends up being a coolant line coming from the driver side of the engine! (ok that one was logical)

Engine starts, its a little shaky so im betting at least one cylinder isn't totally sealed, OR thats an EGR line that is not connected (driver side also, what a PITA had it all figured out and just skipped over two...) and thats causing it to be weaker on one side... or something. The other probably important giveaway something is wrong... the sound! It sounds a little like the neighbors 475hp drag racer - a carbonated engine or something like that. No longer the quiet beast it once was

At least we have all the parts... third times the charm, too easy to get pissed off at the car when you smash your fingers so many times and get things like antifreeze and liquid gasket in the cuts, then inhale brake cleaner and get some of that on the cut to make it feel oh so much better

I have a consult cable, any information I can collect to help diagnose anything at this point? I will only collect a minutes worth or less because I have a part of the engine not getting cooled - really going to try and figure those ones out WITHOUT taking that plenum off again

------------EDIT

good all will be well, I have a mechanic in the family who is making his way up here in a day or two. He has experience with the G50 (no not 10,000 hours), specifically knock sensors, fuel pump issues and suspension! Might as well have him take a look at all of it (he loves working so to hell with feeling bad for asking)

Cant wait to get it all fixed up and put in that NICO ecu I have sitting here

I don't think your consult cable will help much with this one. You will just get some weird readings and paramaters all out of whack.

The NICO ecu would not connect to conzult so I had to install the old one, here are my problems from this LONG repair

Coolant leak was solved, it was the hose that leads to the two coolant jackets, like I said solved not a problem no leaks even with pressure

detonation sensor circuit - code 34I have spent so many days working on this. The car SOUNDS like a drag engine that has a carb instead of a FI system. I checked with brake parts cleaner for a leak on all the gaskets, there is nothing at all, two cans wasted. I am thinking this has SOMETHING to do with the knock sensor replacement that started this whole ordeal, but the KS wont make the engine sound like that now would it? (ECU will get idle to about 800 but thats as good as it gets, usually right around 1200, very slight vibration). I replaced the KS on the Q my friend bought after he tested mine and his repair went without a hitch (and in 2 hours) so im totally lost right now. Would a sound clip or something like that help diagnose? Note the engine smells almost like rich exhaust when it has been running for a minute

I took the car for a spin up the road, NO POWER at all with default or NICO ecu installed. Flooring it actually takes away from the power, I had hopes this would throw a code but it didn't. Really need advice as I have been pulling my hair out, I have done this every damn day since the problem started, hell I can get the plenum off without braking a single hose in under an hour now, the coolant jackets in 5 minutes, and put it all together even faster

Im thinking harnesses could be damaged, but what other possibilities? (mostly, the SOUND of the car - what the hell is causing this). Sorry if this is not easy to read, im going crazy
