FC Commander mod.

I want to modify my Power FC controller, and need some insight from some fellow Power fc owners. I want to separate the screen circuit board from the keypad circuit board so that I can mount each in separate locations. I understand that they will have to remain connected in some way, via"jumper wires." Has this been done? Ant pointers? Also I would like for the back-lighting to be red instead of green, this seems a little less involved than modifying the commander, but how do I change the light.

I have seen it done, and I know people have asked about it before, I would say spend some time search, Im sure you will turn up something.

It's in the works, no turning back. I'm using a 20 pin ribbon from a computer to connect both of the circuit boards.
