I can't wait to see this movie come summer 2009. I enjoyed watching the entire series thus far.

What are all your thoughts of the movie? What do you want to see and what do you think will be in it, such as cars, mods, storyline etc?

I wanna see some more realistic scenes not ur typical rice sht.. I don't mean to offend anyone in here, and i like the series but i just think it's to unrealistic..I would like to see some nice cars and racing, but something that people can relate to..

So that youngsters don't get their minds filled with this and lol we know what happens!

But i gotta admit thg that fast and the furious is one of the movies that inclined me to get into the whole car scene.

Loved the first, Liked the second, HATED the third. Hopefully this one will make up for the third. With the original characters I think it would.

As long as they don't close down highways again! Argghhh, when they were filming the second one in South Florida, I was having to drive to Miami from Tampa for my job on "Alligator Alley" (I-75 when it cuts straight east-west in the Everglades). I got stuck in traffic for 3 hours while they were filming the semitrailer scenes on the highway. I didn't know what was going on at the time. I was just stuck in standstill traffic and then when I finally passed the area I saw the film crews, trucks, and some ricer cars. Didn't know what it was about until I saw the movie.

One of my friend's Civic was in the first one. They held a car competition at Universal Orlando and the 7 winners got to be "scenery" cars for the Race Wars part of the first one in the desert. It was pretty sweet, they brought in a big cargo plane to the Orlando Airport and loaded them up. Flew the cars out there and he got it back after about a month. They rented all the winners Mustangs while they had their cars.

I like that there are movies about cars. I don't like how too many people try to emulate the movies after they are out. And the misinfo that are in the movies doesn't help.

The 1st was very funny and a classic at this point, so many one liners.

2nd was the worst so far, Tyrese may have ruined it by himself.

3rd had dumb parts, but had the best story/plot of the three.

Hope it continues being the same director, etc. From the trailer looks to be a little different from the others again, with different types of cars and different 'groups' of car people.

Local group with have a meet to see it, usually involves a lot of drinking before going to see it and a lot of laughs.

I think this time it will have a good story line. If they went through the trouble of bringing back the original cast, it should have some potential. We'll see though...

Went through the trouble??? None of them have careers at the moment so I don't think it was that hard to bring them back!

We all knew Vin was doomed when he chose to do The Pacifier over the XXX sequel.

I was really skeptical when I had heard about the trailer. I reluctantly watched it, and I thought it was AWESOME!!!! This movie looks sweet!! I hope it won't be a disappointment.

I've never understood the appeal of these movies. They're stupidly written, badly acted, totally fake, and just dumb. If I'm going to watch a movie about cars, I'd rather watch something like Ronin or Bullit or The French Connection. The stupid drama hardass bullcrap from the F&F movies is way too much to stomach. And when they decided to make an entire movie about drifting they killed what very little interest I might have had. Most of all I hate how the movies are steeped in that abominable "import culture" BS that needs to GO AWAY. Japanese car fanatics are the biggest idiots of the car world. Real car guys like CARS. But this new crop of young "import" enthusiasts drools over anything that's popular in Japan. It's amazingly lame. It's like clothing fads with teenaged girls or any other bad fad. They've become this subcultural icon that defines the lives of the owners. A lot of "import" guys aren't really even car guys, they just do it because it's the cool thing right now.

And yeah, I realize there are non-Japanese cars in the F&F movies, but the overall attitude of the movies is pure import fad boy.

The movies define everything I hate about modern car "culture." There shouldn't be such as thing as car "culture." The driver should define the car, not vice versa.

Best quote out of the first one: "Ask any racer, any real racer. It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile; winning's winning. "

Cheesiest Quote out of the first one: "I live my life a quarter mile at a time. Nothing else matters: not the mortgage, not the store, not my team and all their bull****. For those ten seconds or less, I'm free."

I never understood that quote. I mean under most conditions it is true but if I have a huffy and I race a bugatti veyron and lose by a inch, I'm going to be pretty happy.

I would think that if you win by an inch, it's going to be much more entertaining. Winning by a mile seems like no challenge at all and kinda boring...still won though

So wooden acting and ricetastic cars are entertaining? It isn't to me. They weren't very good movies. I am guilty of watching them. Wasn't enjoyable.

And thank you, you've once again proven that, because of my previous opinion of disdain for modded Versa's and people who think I'm assaulting their manhood when I say I don't like them, you people like to start ****. Congrats to you good sir.

Such an immature person with disdain for everything. I thought you were supposed to serve in one of the world's most prestigious military units. I thought you were have to have honor, respect, and appreciation for American civilians, yet you pass judgment and try to be little people. I say shame on you.

And here we go......

Okay, I don't like the movies. I don't like most modded Versa's. Does that make me immature? No. Does that mean I dislike everything? No. All of this is my opinion. I have a right to express that opinion, even if it's something you don't want to hear.

You people seem to follow me around, trying to analyze every little thing I say. I'm expressing my opinion, responding to criticism and trying to be civil about it. If you think I'm trying to belittle people who say I'm whinning on every post then that's your own issue. I just don't understand why people form this opinion about me from just internet posts. If I were doing what you guys were I'd be proclaiming you guys to be over-emotional sissies who can't stand up to some mild criticism and a differing opinion. But I'm not doing that, so please stop trying to bring up some stupid conflict everytime I post, ok?

FYI, I took an oath to defend and protect the US from all enemies, foreign and domestic. Nowhere does it say I have to like every person in it, bucko.

were you a member before you got your V? if so why werent you in here "critisizing" before you got the V? instead you ignored the V forum until you got one, then decided to come in and start "critisizing" every little thing you dont like. we all know you want nothing to do with modding a V and nobody wants to here it anymore, so please just leave your negative comments to yourself. you will not change anybodies mind about modding their V, so stop trying. that is all

I agree with that. That's like me having a COMPLETELY stock 240sx, modding my Versa and critisizing everything about what I don't like how you or others mod their 240sx.

If by criticize you mean expressing my opinion. I am only and have only been expressing my opinion. Before I bought a Versa, I had no interest in the Versa forum. Simply because I didn't have one. What point would I have to post in a V forum when I didn't have one? It's like if I post in a Titan forum when I've never owned one.

I'm a highly opinionated individual, I'm not denying that. Whenever someone posts their, "hot new mod" they're looking for opinions, no? I'm not trying to be an ******* about these things. As a matter of fact, the majority of hostility that gets started is from members, such as you, who mod their V's and, for God knows what reason, thinks my dislike of certain modded V's is a personal attack against them. You guys act like I came over to your house, goosed your sister, shot your dog and pissed in your cereal.

Whatever the reason, the hostility gets started by you guys a good, 90% of the time. Case in point, I cam in here, expressed my OPINION on the FATF movies and get called a whiner.

Personally, I don't care what people, "want to hear". I have my right to express my opinion. You can choose to ignore it without making a smartass comment. I didn't come here to change anyones mind about modding their car. If you wanna stick a useless CF hood on an economy car then go right ahead, your money. If you post a "hey look at my super cool CF hood topic" and I express my opinion, you shouldn't have any issue. You liked whatever mod, you don't need to respond to my comment. I have no place to try and dissuade anyone from modding a car. Commenting that I think a manifold is a little too expensive and wouldn't be worth the money put in isn't going and saying, "Don't buy it, it's stupid." I'm just expressing my opinion. Now if I said, "No one should buy it, this is the dumbest thing since dumb was created" then I'd be actively trying to prevent people from modding their car.

How about this, instead of everytime I post and then one of you modded V guys make some smartass remark/reference/post involving me, you say " Thanks for your input Red Devil". That way I can stop getting into these big drawn out whinefests with you people and you can actually post about what the topic is about, instead of trying to continue whining and trying to make me leave the forums, k?

And MHV, if you did that you'd have every right to. That's the great thing about being able to express your opinion in America.
