What is this NX you speak of? There's this stuff called NOS, we used it once and blew our intake manifold!!!!themadscientist wrote:You need two bottles, the big ones!
I'm torn. On the one hand, it has some pretty awesome cars(Buick GNX FTW!!!!!!). Then it has some s***ty ones(Yellow Solstice with F430 bodykit, WTF?!?!?!?!). Then it also most likely has a terrible script. I'll wait for reviews and probably rent it 1 month later.CPS wrote:I would have to say the dumbest thing said in the first one was "tune the NOS timer and it'll run nines".
And this one already looks FAR dumber than all the other three COMBINED. I love how in the trailer for the movie they spin those duallies around and perfectly line up IN REVERSE to drop a hook on the pintle hitch connector AT SPEED.
I will give them credit for one thing though. At least they finally built a car with enough counterbalance in the back to make it actually do wheelies. They still filmed sequences with a hydraulic rig to make it lift for certain scenes, but at least I'll know a couple of them were an actual, unedited vehicle.
Possibly cause every toolbag with a crappy a** "modded" car was there and decided to prove they were both Fast and Furious by acting retarded and trying to pop wheelies in their FWD s***boxes?Mile High Versa wrote:Who watched the midnight showing?
I plan on watching it Saturday night after work. I heard outside some theaters, there were cops waiting after the movie ended and they were busting some people for unwanted behavior and attention.
What were the roots of the series?Mile High Versa wrote:It mainly went back to its roots of the series which I liked the most. Definitely a sequel in the making, it's obvious in the ending of the movie. Recommended!
Bad acting, bad script writing and almost no real understanding of automotive concepts?Andrews Chalmers wrote:

This one had a decent storyline. I don't know what you're talking about but you should watch it before making calls, seriously. It's a freaking movie for crying out loud, movie is a form of entertainment. There's no point of being entirely accurate.Red Devil wrote:

I don't think he was asking about the 4th one. I was referring to the first and 2nd movies. You don't press a button everytime you want to go faster. Lord have mercy if you use it with a high boost setup. And it's not NOS it's nitrous oxide for the love of god.Mile High Versa wrote:This one had a decent storyline. Agreed. Entertainment or not, some of us don't appreciate being treated like juvenile idiots who don't know a tail pipe from a radiator hose. The series thus far stink of hollywood execs and their focus group produced scripts. Import vs muscle car, check. Go fast button, check. NOS stickers everywhere, check. Neon undercarriage lighting, check. Scantly clad ho's with implants, check... I don't see how this 4th one will be any different. That isn't to say it won't do well in ticket sales. After all, as the famous journalist/writer Henry Mencken once said, "no one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public."Red Devil wrote:
