well in a couple of weeks i may be going to saline,kansas to attend st.john's military school. Why you might ask?Well because i'm failing everyclass except computer apps.Which means i'll be taking 5 classes over again.So i'll try to get on as much as i can and then it will be farewell for 4 years or until i come home,twice a year. .And before you ask they don't have computers there

Everytime you talk to your parents, talk about how all the military training is desensitizing you to violence, how it makes you want to join the military, etc etc. They'll be so afraid their "baby" is turning in a brainwashed killer thay'll call you home in no time.

Please don't think I'm talking down to you, or trying to treat you like a child, but everyone feels like that at your age. Trust me, it can get a LOT worse.

I know how you feel man, Been there done that. youll get thru it. Good lcuk with that tho. If you have a choice though, think it thru. In my short life with many of the same problems ive found its much more satisfying to solve your problems yourself then just letting a change in enviroment do it for you. But good luck.

Good luck with the school. Stop smoking and drinking. Forget about the girl. Realize you're major problems aren't major at all. Don't hurt yourself. Study.

And as any service member will tell you: lose any ego and/or cocky attitude, or you'll get eaten alive. Excel, but let your action speak for you. Remember that, and you'll do fine.

Read and understand, take this to heart as it's something I know alot about seeing a number of my friends go this route in life only to a life without a future.

1. Suicide is for quitters, and losers who are too wussy to face life. Is that how you want to be remembered? Get suicide out of your head, and think positively. Think about a goal in your life, it could be as simple as buying a car. It will help you focus.

2. The common element in every one of those items is you. If you weren't drinking, or smoking pot you wouldn't have been caught. If you weren't slacking off all day and paid some attention in school you wouldn't be faced with poor grades. The girlfriend thing, well I wouldn't say just one person is to blame and honestly you will meet someone else.

Man up son. Seriously, what you do from no on is absolutely going to affect your life. If you want to take the initiative and take control of your life, then you will stop smoking dope, stop drinking, and focus on school. A few years down the line you will realize how incredibly important it is for you to remain focused on school.

Your parents only want what is best for you. If you take the initiative and show them some results then they will listen and work with you. At this point it seems like they feel you are out of their control. You need to face them, talk one on one, acknowledge your problem, and provide a solution. Give them something to hold onto and you might not be going to military school.

Teachers do not hate you. They are very similar to parents in that they, for the most part, want to help you along in life. It would be advisable for you to schedule a conference with the teacher to setup some sort of extra credit work to make up for your past grades. It would show alot on your part.

C'mon man you can't be wanting to throw in the towel just yet. How you face adversity is what defines you.

Hey man ghetto, It's typical to go through all of that stuff. I went through all of that (I wasn't lettin my peeps send me to military school, No girls? HEEELLS NO!)the way I got through it was with prayer and some serious focusing on my work. I mean, I still frickin procrastinate on homework etc. but I AM trying to do what I can man. What part of your schoolwork is the problem? you gotta zero in on the problem point and fix that. like I said mine is homework, I feel, I'm outta school, I gat better things to do. I quit smoking (yeah, that stuff. never TOUCHED cigarettes ), and I have become the designated driver so that is my reason to quit drinking without people asking if I want to drink, or calling me a punk. I'm the one who drives them ppl home when they're drunk an they're at my mercy!

As for girls, there will always be another one, we're still young, and no matter how comitted you think you are, things can (and probbably will) go wrong. now you might get that girl later on in life, but I think it's better to move on. You'll find someone who appreciates you more.

maybe your teachers do hate you I sure thought so with mine. But if you do your best, and make sure you know you're right they cant do jack-****.I got C's and D's throughout my entire highschool geography class. and in GR12 I passed the national exam with an A. I proved to everyone that the teacher had it out for me (and I stuck it to her! HA!)
