That's the "good" way to do it, though you get better rewards if you go with one of the other options. I'm sad, though. Harold has been in every Fallout game. Just doesn't feel right killing him off.

This is the first one I played so I had no attachment to him, but I gathered it was something like that from the dialogue. I just figured I'd ignore them both and honor Harold's request. I wanted to use the thing to make him spread to see what happens, but that was just out of curiosity. I also tried to activate the G.E.C.K. , but when you do you just die.

Point Lookout is supposed to be the best DLC so far. I hope it's really that good.

It is, reminds me a little of elder scrolls 3. With the swamp and all. I think i might have already beat the main quest but there are definatly more things to do.

Is Point Lookout a mini DLC like PITT and Op:Anchorage, or is it like BS where you get to rank up more and get more perks to choose? If it's a mini DLC then I'll get BS first to rank up more first. I've pretty much finished the main story, have a handful of primary locations to find for the money and a couple more unique weapons to get, then it's time to finish the main story. I already did Op:Anchorage, I liked it way more than The Pitt. I think I did the armor glitch correctly, but I didn't get the infinite ammo glitch.

It's a mini-DLC. No raised level-cap, no continuation of the main quest. It does have new perks but they're not earned on level-up, they're rewards for quests.

You mean the Winterized Armor? It happened because there's a "virtual" and "real" version of the armor in the game...two separate item entities. One's for the operation anchorage simulation, and the other was SUPPOSED to be the reward you get at the end in the "real" fallout world outside the simulation. The virtual one is "indestructible" having tons and tons of item health. But instead of putting the "real" one in the armory that opens after you finish the simulation, Bethesda put the virtual one in there. So you come away with armor that's nearly invincible (I went from 20-30 including The Pitt and Broken Steel and mine's still at 100%, never ever been repaired). And the best part is that the winterized power armor has excellent DR, so you get very good armor that'll last forever. Only downside is of course that it is heavy and makes you easier to detect, so it's not always ideal for stealth characters (although my 30 with maxed-out stats can sneak just fine in it, and with the help of a stealth boy could do a dance in front of an enemy in it and still not be spotted).

So is New Vegas going to be a DLC or will that be a whole new Fallout game altogether? Also is there any word on when Mothership Zeta will be out, looking forward to getting more Alien Blasters so I can fix the one I have.

New Vegas is a whole new game. NOT developed by Bethesda, but by a studio that's partially comprised of former Black Isle (original Fallout team) developers. The original Fallout 3 from Black Isle was supposed to take place in the southwest with Vegas as a major city and plot point, so it's possible they may work with some of the story they already had laid out.

Mothership Zeta is due out at the end of next month.

Plik's safari. I can't complete it because I got stuck with the ghoul mask glitch a while back (if you try to put on the ghoul mask while it's completely broken, you get the mask's effect permanently).

Started playing the game this morning and it's absolutely excellent. One of the best RPG's I played to date! I made my way out of the Vault and to Megaton city where I'm trolling around now. Isn't that Liam Neesom talking as your father?

Yeah, it's Neeson. From what I understand, he had a lot of fun with the part, too, and helped shape the character.

Ron Perlman actually isn't a character, but he's in the game. Perlman has done the intro and ending narration for all 4 fallout games.

Cool, and we all recognise Malcolm McDowell's unmistakable voice as President Eden. I just fought some Supermutants for the first time...those guys are tough...and Moriarity is a jerk, I so want to kill him!

Supermutants are tough in the beginning but once you level up a little bit they become super easy. I can take down a standard supermutant with one shot to the head with my hunting rifle.

I'm crazy about that hunting rifle, it's NBA fantastic! I'm also finding it hard to just concentrate on one thing, I'm on a mission to test out some "repellant" on Molerats for this chick and I wind up in a memorial center killing lurks and renegades and now I'm completely lost. ...but still having much fun!

They have TONS of health. Normal Super Mutants have 100 hit points. Masters have 360 hit points. Overlords have TWELVE HUNDRED hit points. But you'll only run into them if you get Broken Steel.

I see Bethesda has successfully claimed yet another victim. I seriously didn't play any of my other games for 4 months, finally got the 360 hooked back up after about a month (was rearranging the bedroom) and took it out to play COD 4, but even now the Fallout 3 disc is calling my name.

Oh and you think the Super Mutant Masters are tough, wait until you get ranked up high enough to come across not 1 but 2 Giant Radscorpions... at night... int the middle of nowhere. I have found that the shotgun is the best weapon for taking them down, a couple shots to the face and they die. I still shudder everytime I kill one.

Oh and Deathclaws are very very very rough on the heart, they are fast, powerful, and 9 times out of 10 unless you have a s***-ton of ammo, armor, health and a very powerful weapon they will kill you, and you can't outrun them.

Yao Gau'/s are tough up close, but a couple rounds to the head from a distance with the Lincoln Repeater and they go down, just watch out because later in the game they like to travel with molerats so your perception is thrown off, you think you have a couple of molerats, and next thing you know you have a yao gau attacking you from behind.
