So i have been out of the game for a while. Some of you old heads remember me. A lot of you new guys prolly dont. 1.5 years ago my s14 got hit by a truck, 531rwhp daily driven kat decked out you could say. With family issues and this and that i didnt have much time to build another car. I got into quads and street bikes since then, easy speed. Street bike is gone and up in the air about the quad.

Bought 2 s13's to build one cheap yet fast stock motor/transmission ka-t. Got a deal on a full setup from a fellow ka-t guy. Bought the whole thing and have been selling and parting out stuff i dont need.

As we stand i have a 1993 auto base with a hole in the block and built KA for $420 as of right now, lol.

Motor:s13 motorweisco 9:1 pistonspauter rodsarp everywherecometic HGs14 intake manifold all emissions and IACV removed1500 drift miles on motor

With the deal i still have jwt cams to install and quite a few things to sell as i am stripping out this s13. Off the bat im going to hit 500rwhp again to run somewhere in the mid 10's, s14 was running 11.21 with problems and full weight. This s13 should be an easy 500lbs less a couple things setup better.

Plans:JWT 250mm 700hp clutch and Flywheelz32 5spd trans kitT67 turbo

I still have a tubular manifold setup to use.

All in all i think i will be about $4k into this car to have it in the 10's. I will then need a cage and any exterior/suspension mods i need/want.

Dont have many pics so far. this one is of the stock motor i was gonna boost that is now going to Cain another fallen ka-ter, my built motor is behind it.

Welcome back, im just a lurker so you prolly dont know me lol but your one of the few people that make me consider going KA-T. Got a question for you though, for your power goal (~500hp) is that on pump gas?

500whp on pump gas? no way. only ways are race gas, alcohol injection, or E85

He ran pump 93 and methanol injection if I remember correctly on a JWT ecu?

500hp is possible on pump gas but you have to retard the timing so much (usually) that it will make your boost creep

adding something like methanol to the mix will let you make big power off pump gas

i dont plan to run methanol injection as a supplement this time incase i get to race in NHRA events. They dont allow it from what i know in certain classes

Looks like things are getting stepped up just a little more with some 11mm head studs and sweet fuel system. prolly will be going for 600whp and project cost under the $7k mark all said and done
