Anybody have an easy answer for this one? When the windows are rolled up, you can't hear anything, but the other day while I was driving with the windows DOWN and the stereo off, I heard a really faint high pitched whistling noise but only when I step on the accelerator (not while coasting and not while braking). It's a 2009 Murano SL 2WD and was bought in May and has only 2,500+ miles on it.

Thanks!

It's described in this thread. zerothread/334667

In a nutshell....Your dealer needs to reposition the throttle chamber. Nissan now has a Service Bulletin for this issue.

The service department just called me and told me they couldn't hear anything. I told them about the service bulletin and they said they'd drive it around again.

I'm sure they'll insist that they don't hear anything. Continue to raise hell, complain, and show them the TSB until they fix it. If they don't, go to another Nissan dealership and/or contact Nissan Consumer Affairs.

My dealer performed the TSB on my wifes 09 just last week.

I expected a run-around yet was pleased when they took my description, the TSB number, and just performed the task.

Good luck
