Factory HID Replacement?

So i recently bought an '08 A/C v6 (cvt sadly) after (tragically) losing my 4cyl coupe. I love this car like it's my first born child but the headlight lenses are shot. They're scratched and foggy as all hell and ive tried every restoration method under the sun. I gave up and decided to just buy entire new headlights housings but I cannot find any that are compatible with the factory HID's. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do? getting real sick of these nasty headlights ruining the look of my baby

i tried one of those turtle wax restoration kits, i tried the toothpaste thing which i know was far fetched, and i even tried polishing them with a buffing wheel and some good polishing compound. at this point i really wanna just buy new headlights but none of the aftermarket ones are compatible with the factory HIDs.

Having the same trouble. I want replacement halo or projector headlamps to replace my factory hid set up on my 2008 altima se coupe. I can't find any for sell. It's the whole reason I joined the site.

I too recently purchased a coupe with the lenses (HID) that are fogging on top. Started searching for replacement housing and they are not to be found at a reasonable price. I did find - is-the-halogen-to-hid-conversion-really ... 81677.html .

Can the Halogen Housing be purchased keeping our HID wiring and bulbs. - Is it that simple?
