Took some pics... car is sitting in the lot at STI motorsports and is somewhat decommisioned and parts are floating all around in the inside of the car. Apparently the Owner of STI took over the car from a lien from the real owner who went to jail. The STI owner claims the supercharger came from stock from Japan. I think its the Keulian Supercharger that came out a few years ago though. What do you guys think... also you think its worth purchasing? Owner asking around 5k.

It's definitely one the the Super Q's marketed by Beverly Hills Infiniti that was at the time part of the Keuylian Motorcars Auto Group.

They closed their Beverly Hills Infiniti dealership a couple of years ago I guess so they focus more on their Ferrari customer base. I'm not sure of what dealerships the Keuylians now have interest in.

5K For the F50 ($5,000) I'd jump on it, but $50,000 is a little too much.Since it is partially disassembled and there is some question of EPA/DOT compliance, maybe $15,000. at the most.

I love those quad exhaust tips on the F50.

I'm with Wes, I think he's saying they want $5k for the SC, but if they want just $5k for the whole car, I'd say jump if you have the means. I'd be tempted to sell my bike to pick up something like that.

Every one of these conversions seems to have met with failure. Why buy someone else's problem?

That is the SC'd Q that I drove and wrote up about on here about a year ago. I'm good friends with Sammy, the owner of STI and I worked for them a few years back. I gotta say, for those of you that don't remember my post about it back then, that car took off from the line like a bullet! The front went up in the air and the car just blasted off. Sammy rode with me and we just laughed like two kids in a candy store. 2005QinCali, you should get that SC! Are the Brembo brakes still on it too? If so, you should take the brakes. Sammy was trying to get me to take the SC, but I don't think it will bolt up to the VH41.

Falk...I was not able to locate your write-up on the supercharged F50. Can you find the link to the thread?

Thanks!

nope the brembos are gone.... he did though mention they wdre previously on there. So what's the history on the car? Was the supercharger stock from japan like he said or did keulian supply it for the original owner? That car looks really mangled right now and the inside looks like it was broke into and whole dash with screen and stereo seem to be missing as well. As far as I know it doesn't even run right now so I'm wondering if the SC is stil even good anymore
