One of my clients is STI Motorsports in Culver City, CA (stimotorsports.com). You may have seen them on Pimp My Ride. Anyhow, I was dropping off some printing and they had 2 sweet F50 Q's over there. One of which has a custom super-charger, dual exhaust and Brembo brake package. The shop owner say's "give Kevin the key. Let's go for a ride" Start it up, rumbles nice through the dual exhaust, but still quiet inside. Got onto the street, and Jeebus!!! That thing nearly pops a wheelie! The front literally went up, and the car just blasted off. Man was that impressive. I love the key, and of course the Nav system is neat. It said one tire had only 15psi, but it was wrong. The overall layout is very simialr to the Y33's as far as controls, etc.

Anyhow, the car is going to be put back to stock, so all parts are for sale! Anyone interested in a super charger for their F50? Brembo brakes? Custom dual exhaust with bumper that looks stock? They're looking for 5-6000 for everything. Any chance the SC would fit on my VH engine? The owner supposedly paid about 25k to have the SC made, seems like BS, but that car was sooo fast.

The supercharged F50s always end up on ebay or on dealer lots in Seattle. No one really knows why.

A custom-made SC? Or a custom adaptation of an off-the-shelf unit? If it's off-the-shelf, find out which one it is. Won't get anywhere near $25k for it though--that must have included labor.

I'm sure it's an adaptation, but it looks pretty good. Sure as heck drove good! I didn't say they want anywhere close to 25k for it, that's what they suposedly paid. They want 5-6k for the SC, Brembo brakes, and custom exhaust in total.

Wes is working on "re-creating" the SC that was used by Dr. Birkmire for the G50 Q45. There have already been a few (3, maybe 4) F50 Q45's with SC's on ebay/in Seattle.

Indeed...

5-6k for a SC exhaust and brakes is a STEAL...

go buy an F50, blow the engine to pieces and then get a new one, and slap that blower on there

Did it look something like this, under the hood?

More or less, except silver (bare metal). Same notch cut in the plastic around the belt. The car ran very good, idled smoothly etc. and just blasted off when the pedal was floored.
