One of the main reasons to get eyelids is to cover the ugly amber light. With our car even with the eyelids the amber light sneaks out. I think it would be alot better to cover up that whole upper reason (including the turn signal area). Of course this would only be done for 3.5s

How about you take out the bulb so no amber light leaks out. I agree for the reason to get eyelids is to cover that ugly amber stripe.

my opinion is they look real dumb.

eyelids just dont fit, i have never seen eyelids that i liked, on any car, ever.

to each their own, but thats my opinion.

All that matters at the end of the day is what you think.

But, in my opinion I think they look kinda cheap.

I ordered a set for the heck of it off of ebay... gonna go get em painted, and just lay them over the car... if its too much of a contrast due to my matte black overlays, then I'll sell the prepped and painted ones to someone here

It seems no one answered ESP's original question. The question was not why do you buy eyelids.

The question was why buy CARBON FIBER eyelids and then PAINT them?

If they are real carbon then it would be cheaper to buy fiberglass if you are going to paint over them.
