bestest...

Coilovers will give you the ability to change your ride properties, so you can adjust them to what you see fit on a given day. If you're faint of heart just go with kyb agx's and some eibach pro kits.

that would b the reason i wish i got coilovers instead of the kyb's. dont get me wrong the agx's are great, i just wish i had the adjustability of the coilovers.

tokico? very good. tein, very good. Its all a matter of personal preferance, the preferance on nico seems to lean towards the agx's.

CC84 - What type of catback did you buy?

Sounds like it may have been one of those cheap ebay deals, or perhaps some taiwanese knockoff stuff... Either way, it should at least fit properly WITHOUT "muffler cement".

I'll PAY CASH to have that abbreviation deleted from the car enthusiast's vocabulary... :rolleyes

I have a 90 240sx and i've got a hotshot headers, with a catco cat and also a megan catback system from ebay. The car sounds like it's ready to roll. Low end torque get's stronger. Once the the silencer is off you can feel the high end power increases from stock. The downside to the Megan exhaust is first of all it's not angled, The muffler is huge. Also it's got a long exhaust tip. But other than that it's the best exhuast i've got.

OUCH. For $575 you could have bought a handmade, all stainless BRM system (http://www.brmusa.com) WITH a resonator AND shipping (that fits perfectly) and had money left over for lunch for a week.

Sorry you got ripped off.... :(

Alex at Southwest Autoworks (look at the ads on the left) has Hotshots at a great price.

A catback does NOT need to "break in" - Whoever said that is an idiot.

The guy at the muffler shop who said to do some cutting is an idiot as well.

Lastly, whoever told you to use "muffler cement" is wrong as well - The parts should fit together perfectly tight without any type of "stuff" on them. A well-built catback will bolt on at the catalytic converter flange, hang on the stock hangars, and not leak, rattle or sound "weird".

I'm not quite sure I understand the rest of your post, take your time and re-read your posts making sure it's spelled and punctuated correctly so we can help you out.

Oh noes...someone buy him a new keyboard!!! Actually, he probably paid 575 canadian, which means 433 USD. Still too much considering he needed "muffler cement". Oh, and the hitman is yet again...right. Occasionally mufflers will mellow out a little bit with a couple weeks of use, but if its any kind of substantial difference then I'd say you have a problem there.

sorry guys my english is just bad. Not very good at writing. k well then i guess it never needed the muffler cement it. ya it did bolt right on catalytic converter but i had problem with gaskets they are small. but someone told me long as the bolt goes through them its fine. the guy who i bought it off told me these gaskets wont fit so i went out to the nearest store and bought that was closest. could of find better gaskets but the person who was helpin me said this is good enough.

Did I guess it or WHAT! :)

Straight outta Taiwan, right alongside the LED exhaust tip... :nono

It's no wonder it didn't fit right and sounds funny. :(
