Car_Crazy84: yea, i agree with everyone else that you got ripped off. thats just a cheap company trying to make quick money on cheap parts. its to bad you didnt come to us before ordering that, we could have given you some suggestions on good exhausts for the same price.

Yep - My guys are busting on it right now, should be ready for sale in approx 2 weeks. :)

Dyno testing had to be redone to make sure we didn't LOSE any HP going with a different muffler.

you shouldnt get ripped off if you look at the products our sponsors sell so id start there. real coilovers are the whole spring/strut assembly and usually have a lot of adjustments that can be done to them but that makes them cost more. if you want these expect to pay at least $1000 but you will prolly end up paying around $1500-$2000

what do you mean by dual exhaust? dual tip or actually two exhaust pipes from around the cat-back? the only dual pipe exhaust that i know of is the apexi N1 dual and i guess BRM is in the making of some. if you plan on keeping the KA non turbo then you should probably go with an exhaust that has piping around 2.5". the N1 dual has been know to retain good torque and give some high end hp on non turbo KAs. if you go with an exhaust with too large piping you may lose some low end torque (although i havent seen any dyno charts showing this on the KA). I'd wait and see what BRM is making, Im sure it will be a quality exhaust for a decent price.

yaa that apex n1 dual exhaust is what i am talking about. no i am going to turbo my KA. that exhaust would be ok if i turbo my engine right. When is BRM going to come out with their dual exhaust?

You can put TWO turbos on the KA and there is still no need for "dual exhausts".

We are doing a dual tip design for the S13, but there are currently no plans to creat a true dual system for the 240sx. If there was a benefit to be gained besides appearance, it would be done.

Dual exhausts allow the exhaust gases to cool significantly, thereby decreasing their rate of expulsion and hindering flow.

I'll be SO glad when this "fad" towards bigger exhaust piping finally dies down. I, for one, will do all I can to provide accurate and timely info rather than rumor, myth and conjecture.

p.s. TKA37, thanks for the kind words. :)

Hmm, this is an excellent point that I had never considered before. I'd also guess that it would effect NA cars even more than turbo cars since they rely so heavily on the scavenging effect of high velocity exhaust gasses.

VERY true.

There's so much more to exhaust than just pipe size and types of mufflers...

More education to come, hold tight kiddies! :)

Basically 3 inch is standard for a turbo car. Some folks run a 2.5 and it is just fine but the 3 is pretty much the norm. As far as "Dual Exhaust" I think you are confusing this with a dual tip muffler. The reason for a Dual tip Muffler is so it has more ground clearance and IMO looks cooler. The Apexi N1 dual is good. If you wait for about 2 weeks BRM should have their Dual tip cat back for sale as well.

You don't see a column of brightly-colored boxes on the left side of your computer screen when you're on NICO?

Scroll up.

Yes, it says forum sponsors, then has a long column of banners for sponsors. Are you on a Mac? Do you use an unusual internet browser?
