just dont use cable and get a seperate lever for rea4 calipers, google the cnc staging brake, or hell even google z32 staging brake and u will see some cool setups, i even think the d2 hydrolic ebrake will work for front and rear calipers, that way u get rid of cables altogeather

can someone tell me how this works? its only to engage the parking brake right? i mean can i just make a braket that allows me to mount the calipers and use evo rotors (have the rotor redrilled to match 4 lug)

dude, the car posted above is MY car.....you will LOVE the EVO brakes....just rember to get some SS lines (evo SS lines Are DIRECT BOLT ON) And ENDLESS Stock Replacment Pads (~150-170$)

If you want to mount them on your car (s14/s13) you need an adapter plate for the front and the rears....

For the front you can find it on Zilvia.net serach there for "check out my big brakes" and you will find the thread...go to page 7 and you will find a sketch that you must print and go to any machin shop and let them machin it for you.....

as for the rear...you will need adpter plate for the rear caliper to fit....and you will lose the E-brake b/c the inner rotor dimeter will not fit over the Z32 drum/e-brake setup....

alot of guys swaped EVO VII/VIII/IX Front brakes And for the rear go with Z32 Rear brakes (rotor AND caliper b/c the Z32 rear piston dimeter is 40mm Vs the EVO 35mm piston....

JhonC (member on zilvia.net) said with the Z32 BMC he felt the rear brakes are better with Z32 Vs the STI / EVO brembo....

My setup,

EVO IX CaliperEndless CERAMIC PadsEndless SS linesSTOCK BMCSTOCK rear brakes

Will upgrade to Z32 rear's in the next 2-3 weeks...

Sure hope this help,

Kind Regards,

Ali

If need help...just ask son....

maybe you should try your self to double check

oh ok u kinda messed up. i was reffering to that dude stricKnyne since he told me about a hydraulic handbrake.

anyway i still dont understand howu are working the whole rear assembly. well i get the fact that u have to get some special brakets to put up the calipers, lines are direct fit,... and u said u will loose the z32 drum. so how are you running ur parking brake??? did u get that secondary Wilwood caliper? because i was just thinking about using a hydraulic handbrake strictly for ebraking.

Are you building a "draft" car....? NO...so go with the Z32 rear e-brake/drum setup and you will win...

b/c Z's have BIGGER piston in the rear...With the Z's BMC you will not cause the brakes to be 90% Front And 10% rear....

Also you will have LONGER pad life (depending on the driver) b/c the EVO Pads Are Not Cheap (150-300$) For Pads ONLY !!!!!

perhaps u dont understand but i am not builing a drift or track car. this will be my daily driver. the only reason why i want the hydro ebrake is because my current cable type (stock s13) doesnt work. i am still building by car and since i got an sr swap i've wasting too much money. i dont want to spend a lot more money buying hub conversions and hunting down z32 drums, plus like i sayd the calipers where FREE. like i mentioned before i want it STRICTLY for parkingbrake
