2 things that are kind of related to this thread....

This was the main reason why i became a fan of the original Gran Turismo way back because it dealt with mostly normal 80's 90's used cars that you could race. Normal run of hte mill cars that were only available in japan or only limited here.

GT seems to have lost this.

2nd is that it makes you think that 10-20 years ago, guys 10-20 years older than us were saying the same things about the cars they grew up with compared to the cars that were out then.

my integra is 18 and 245,000+ miles and still running like a champ

My Integra is 20 this year and has 265k miles. Sees 4000rpm daily and 5000rpm every now and then. Still going strong!
