Thanks mate! The metal rods are the turnbuckles that are supposed to help keep the splitter in place at high speeds. I kept 'em on for the aesthetics! I angled them such that the lines are in keeping with the slant of the sides of the grill.Hotness.Kanard wrote:sick pics.. forgive my dumbness.. but the lil metal rod looking things are splitters? i like that look.. idk its just ill. and im gonna make the last pic a wallpaper on my phone.lol so ill get happy every time i see the coupe in a nice pic like that. Thanks Doc! I was torn between it and the front lip, but when my fiancee saw the pics of the splitter on yours she was pretty set on it!rjdmmfl1 wrote:nice job ESP... really classy/stealth car you've got there.... and of course I'm digging the front splitter!
haha! That made me smile! Thanks!!!mylifeisstupid wrote:drool... I was looking for the digg button for a sec. Gorgeous coupe, keep up the good work.
Erm...I can't remember... It was either my old 20D or my 40D. I know I used my 28-70mm 2.8L lens though! My settings? Seeing as they're HDR that's kinda hard to pinpoint. I believe I was stopped down to f/11 and had +/- 2EV. Shutter probably in the range of 1/200th as it was a sunny day.08coupedaddy wrote:what kind of camera did you use for your pics? and what were the settings on?
Done! New pics are up at the top.eyelonfang wrote:can you post some pics of the leds in the vents?
hehe...well, I was meeting up with some other local car guys and I wanted to have the 'stache painted before I went. Unfortunately, I was really busy for the entire week before and didn't have time to prep and paint them properly. I just made a couple of quick coats with Krylon Fusion glossy black the night before...consequently, after over a month of driving (Calgary to Vancouver, then back again) they've started to chip. I'll be sanding off the chrome and do a proper primer/paint this weekend!alticoupe3.5 wrote:what did you do to your "moustaches"??? they look like they are tinted or something....looks bubbly
NOOOOOOOO!!! How could you, you traitorous fiend! haha!As for the transparent hood, go for it...I ripped it off from a shot I saw in a car mag a few years ago!Sentientbydesign wrote:ESP,
Mind if I steal your "transparent hood" idea?
Car looks amazing. I'd still take the STI over yours though
