I've heard good and bad from spec, but Enjuku- a vendor here sells that at a great price so I went with it.

I'm still breaking it in (stg 2+) and if it fails, I will go with another brand..

Hopefully when it fails it don't take the transmission with it, like it did mine

no not 35k, but close to 25k invested in 240's. I am counting shipping costs, tools bought to do the build that I didn't have before this project and replacement of parts that failed in the time since I purchased the car. Including my Koyo rad that developed a leak and my Profec BII that stopped working after only 6 months all 4 wheel bearing assembly's. The car itself is nothing special, and not all of the cost is parts on the car. Some stuff has been sold like the jdm front and s14 seats and VIS body kit with Bomex Wangan wing, and the second chassis collectively were a couple grand. the new chassis was resprayed, new dash and interior etc. The cost just adds up really quickly. I will post pics tonight, but most of the money is in the engine, turbo. I honestly myself sometimes wonder where all the money went to, but my wife reminds me....so maybe I should have been a little clearer when I stated that sum was parts solely in the car. That sum is what i took me to get this project to where it is.

yeah i meant to type 25 not 35. i'm kinda curious how much i have into my car, but i actually haven't spent a lot. i have about 2k into the turbo setup but i still want to bring it a long way. how much more do you need to spend before you're done?

It will never be done, but as of the first I am picking up a rust free 1991 coupe chassis that has been stripped and all sound deadening removed and treated with rubber bed liner top and bottom new rear adjustable suspension components with a tanabe sway bars for $500 then my friend is fabbing me a roll cage to d1 spec my current coupe looks clean but is a little shoddy underneath, so I will be doing alot of repair on that one, and then it is going to my wife with a stock sr swap...I still need to get paint for my new chassis, the roll cage a new sr front cover (mine has stripped bolts under the cam so it weeps oil) maybe some front adjustable control arms and some random dress up parts with powder coating so maybe a couple grand

the engine shot, it's cleaner now

side shot the way it sits now

the coupe I just sold

the old chassis

did you put a lil grease on the transmission spindle where the clutch goes on it? maybe it went dry and metal on metal contact in high heat killed it
