Engine stuttering Problems

ok maybe u guys can help me out with this, i hope. it's been doin it for a while but i dont notice ne signifant problems while driving or fuel eff. BUT, it's annoying!! I have a '90 S13 KA24E, i've got NGK plugs, jus put new wires and rotor under the hood, i've replace all 4 fuel injectors in the last year, but when i'm sittin at a light, it runs fine, when i take off or hold speed under 3000 RPM's the whole engine stutters, i have to either give it gas and speed up or slow down to make it quit, so less i'm haulin *** and keepin it over 3 grand i'm constandly on and off the gas jus so my engine dont stutter, b/c i donno if that's a bad thing or what. other then that it seems to b running fine.

sounds like how mine first started. Then it eventually got worse. First clean your air filter or buy anew one, then try the fuel filter. 2 cheap items that can cause the problem. If this dont fix it check out my other post

thx, i read the other post as well, i'll check out my intake and see what all that looks like. i could prob use a new fuel filter it's been like 15K miles since the last one (one year) and i run premium 93 in it. thx for the help, i'll check the intake when i get home.

... ok i haven't had chance to check the intake yet, i'll prob do it tomorrow after i do the oil change, but i did notice one thing, it only does it when there's a load on the motor. i sat in park earlier today and slowly reved it from idle to 3500 and i didn't do it, so it only does it when there's a load on the motor.

i have the same problem in my 89 ka24e. under 3k rpm just cruising it starts shaking. i have to either give it gas or let off to keep it from stuttering. above 3000 its great but that's usually well above the speed limit. i checked the air filter, all hoses, intake and throttlebody for leaks. mabye my fuel injectors are dirty or something. let me know something if you figure it out. thanks

Ok guys, mine only did it under a load too. When I was in Park or nuetral it never did it. Butttttt dang it the past 2 days i have had a shutter only once per day. After it did it the one time it never did it again. So maybe I havent fixed it. I am gonna work on it some more next weekend. I gotta start replacing all the bad gaskets I have. Oh and Zero... I was talk ing about the throttle body not the intake. Just to be absolute sure your werent talking about the intake manifold, cause that might be a helluva job to take all that off. FutureSRswapper you might check your injectors. Check them with a ohm tester. I think they are supposed to be around 10ohms or somethig like that(search). Just to eliminate that.

lol, o hell no, i'm not takin NE manifolds off!! but honestly i never got to check the throttlebody or ne thing yet, rained the part of the day i wanted to work on it. ne way SRswapper, i DID find a partial solution. it didn't stop the shaking completely, but it reduced it dramatically.... go to pepboys and get a can of mass air flow sensor cleaner, take the MAFS out and spray it down, BUT, do b carefull, those sensors r VERY fragile! spray it down and lightly blow it off, and put it back in. i noticed an instant drop in the problem.

ne one kno some good sites to get aftermarket parts for my KA24E??
